I called Burt from Angies List for an estimate on replacing an attic fan with an attic ladder and the plumbing work. The attic ladder estimate was higher than average, but Burt demonstrated experience and knowledge about the problems (a joist would need to be cut). I'm not going to do the attic ladder (more expensive than I can afford at this time). The plumbing went great. It's been 5 days now and everything's fine. Burt gave me a parts list when he estimated the job, I picked them up, and he fit me in as needed ( I work from home, so scheduling wasn't a problem.). He was fast and efficient with no mess.

I hired Burt to do some repairs on my rental properties. I always found him to be prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, cared about what he was doing, and efficient. On one property he repaired the roof, found additional problems than I was aware of, and recommended additional maintenance that can be done in the future. I then had him help me on another rental property to get it ready to rent. Here he repaired the siding, fixed plumbing, installed a water heater, repaired electrical and other odd jobs. As I did not have every thing he needed to complete the job he would work while I went to the store to get more supplies. I really appreciated the fact he would stay busy while I was gone. If he had done as much as he could do on one job he would start or complete another while I was gone. He always had me check the work as we went so I knew what he had done and was satisfied with the work. He also had recommendations for additional improvements for my rental. I will be hiring him again for more work.
