LUXURY CUSTOM POOLS AND RENOVATIONS

From the onset of interviewing pool contractors, we felt a connection with Terry Wood and felt he would deliver the quality pool we wanted.  We didn't want a "cookie cutter" pool but one with some personality and relaxing features.  The construction process was relatively smooth except for a couple of weeks of rain.  The workers were pleasant and put up with us watching their work and asking questions.  The trend in pool decking is stamped and colored concrete but we decided to go with a broom finish for the safety of our grandchildren.  Building a pool is a process and Wholesale Pool and Spas made it an enjoyable experience.

I would not reccomend Terry Wood.  He is a good salesman and that is where it ends.  Unprofessional, Unreliable, etc etc.  If you want details of my bad experience, feel free to contact me.  816-308-1108.  Joel

It started out well; Terry told me my project would be done by September 3, including the fence..that would be a 3 week project.  A week and a half after they started, the foreman stopped work and went to Georgia for another job, after he left, it seemed nothing got done timely or efficiently. 
First, I kept asking Terry to get his fence person over so we could discuss the fence; he never did.  He told me to pick out what I wanted.  I raised the issue of cost..how am I supposed to know how many linear foot we need.  We went out to the yard and I held the measuring tape while he told me the numbers; we added them up and I ordered the fence...we were 6 ft short.   He told me he could get another panel here in about 3-4 days. That wasn't the case.  I waited a week for him to tell me that I needed to call and order the panel.  I did and it took 2 weeks to get to the house.  I couldn't get him back to the house to finish the project.  I had to keep calling, asking him when he was coming to work/finish my pool; most of the time I wouldn't receive a response.  I would have to keep calling and calling until he would finally get the hint I was going to keep calling him until he answered.  He also turned his phone off a few times.  He finally admitted to doing other pools instead of mine.
While they were finally finishing up the fence, they began putting in the liner...another mis-measurement!  He told me, again, it would take just a few days to get the new liner...it took 2 weeks.  I said, ok, plenty of time to finish the fence...not so...he spent his time on other people's projects. 
Basically my pool hasn't been finished and it's 6/25/13; almost a year later from when it began.  The pool liner is pulling down from the header and at least one of the fountains is still leaking.  I've left a message for his foreman last Thursday, Friday, and this morning; I've received no response.

There is actually more to the story but I felt I should give the abridged version, for space savings.

The job went fine. We had a little difficulty with scheduling. Terry and his crew did a very good job.

Very well, I believe you get more for your money with this company.  I priced 3 other companies and this one was by far the best value and the best quality.
