Gerhart's Contemporary Photography

I have never hired a professional photographer so I can't compare the Gerharts to others. For my friends wedding, I employed the Gerharts. My friend and I met with Marlys, looked at sample pictures, and Marlys wrote a list of all the pics to be sure to take. They had different package deals none of which suited my friend. Marlys was totally open to adjusting to suit my friend's needs. The groom was late to the wedding when groom pictures were to be taken - the Gerharts were wonderful at adjusting. While it seemed there was so much time involved in taking pictures - especially getting the right people together - the Gerharts were relaxed and friendly. The new couple were totally impressed with their experience, and would recommend them. Marlys spent time encouraging people in the photographs to model. She seems to have a wonderful eye for what will look good in a photo. And this was a somewhat "complicated" wedding group. We have not seen the pictures yet, but I am sure they will be wonderful. I was so impressed with the whole process and with the adaptability and friendliness the Gerharts have. Not at all what I had imagined how professional photographers would be. And I should mention that when I expressed concern for the background that would be in the church, Marlys offered a trellis backdrop which worked wonderfully. That's the care they seemed to have for wanting the experience and the pictures to work well for the wedding party.

Went very smoothly.

They have packages that range from $400 to all the money in the world. We picked a $1000 package, and that's a lot. They took over a thousand pictures. They double shoot everything and pick the best of each two. The pictures are just gorgeous. They are just wonderful. We had a good experience.
