The whole experience went well. I called for an appointment later in the day, which they were able to accommodate. We waited there in the shop for the work to be done. The waiting area was clean and provided free WiFi, thoughtful. The inspection was done , oil changed and tail light fixed all in about 40 minutes. This car is no price and they could have easily tried to find a million things to fix. They did what I had asked and only suggested a few fluid changes for future maintenance, none of which were shoved down my throat. All the people we worked with were decent and honest. We will be returning for our future auto service needs.

They're an excellent mechanic. They've done great work for me and their prices have been reasonable. Anytime I've had any kind of complaint, I come up to their attention and they take care of it immediately. Every time I have car problems, that's where I go.

I have a very high level of trust with Dave. They are not going to try to do work that you don't need or anything like that. They are well-educated too.

They are always really good and able to diagnose problems that other people weren't able to find.

This car had been idle for a few weeks since I had been told by another service station that it needed the tie rod ends replaced. Since then, I had another instance with that same place that made me question their integrity. Now that the car is going to be driven, I took it for a drive around the block. I noticed some noise from the brakes. I took it to Dave's after reading the reviews here. I'm so glad I did.

It did take longer than expected. I dropped the car off around 9:00am. They called me at about 3:00pm to say they were unexpectedly backed up and asked to keep my car over night. It was worth the wait. They found no trouble with my tie rods or wheel bearings. The brakes had simply gotten rusty so they cleaned them up. Now they are noise free. It's good to now that there is an honest shop that I can take my cars to. They've earned my business!

I'm writing this review not on a recent experience but based on several experiences over the years with Daves. I've taken my vehicles to Daves for 20+ years. It's important to find a business you can trust with repairs to your vehicles and Daves is that business. They've always been accommodating when scheduling service. They are also very thorough. We recently had an issue with a Sorento. They did their best to try to fix it but wasn't able to and didn't charge me for much of the time spent on it. The Sorento was taken to a Kia dealership and they were not able to figure out the problem either. The employees are all great to work with and very knowledgeable. I would recommend Daves (and have over the years) to anyone looking for a auto repair shop you can depend on.

They are super! The guy is awesome. He works on old autos as well as new ones - people really trust him.

I drive a 2001 Honda Odyssey with 328,000 miles on it. I've had a problem with noisy rear brakes for years, getting worse lately. After getting one estimate for rear brake work at $630, I went to Dave's for a 2nd opinion after reading good reports here on Angie's List. Dave looked over my car and explained very clearly what was causing the problem - he fixed my brakes (which had been worked on incorrectly previously), and rotated the tires, which had been causing my car to pull to the right. This business is very honest, fairly priced, and does great work. I'll be returning!

I've used Dave's for four years now for my car repairs and inspections. They are always friendly and professional. They are not as cheap as some smaller shops, but I think you get what you pay for in this case.
The only thing I would add, which applies to ALL non-dealer repairs, is if you know/think you may have an unusual problem you are probably better off going straight to a dealer for the brand car you are driving. I have ran into this issue on both a Ford Focus and a Toyota Corolla. After wasting money at private shop(Dave's in one case) I ended up going to the dealer, who knew exactly what the issue was. Small shops that didn't know what the issue really is, will just start throwing new parts at the problem which is very expensive.

My husband accidentally fueled the Lexus car with diesel. We then drove the vehicle in to the service center and they took care of everything. I have known them for years and the services rendered are great. They are very honest and sell only what they can do. I like their services and will continue to use them in future.

Daughter has Volkswagen and they were very helpful explaining details and options. Also changed a break light without charge which was appreciatied since VW lights are very difficult to change. Overall pleased.

They are very highly recommended. I know that a lot of folks that I know have used them. A family member used them earlier this year. They have a lot of expertise. They’re fair-priced. Being a woman and going to a service center with my car, a lot of times I feel like they would try to take advantage of me because I don’t know much about these things, but I didn’t feel that way with these guys. They were honest. It felt safe going there, and I got a good deal and good service. I would use them in the future if I need to. At the time that I used them, the car that I was driving was really old and it had a lot of miles on it. I’ve had a couple of new cars in the last 10 years, and that is why I have not used them for this long because I didn’t have any need to have any kind of work done.

My usual mechanic (of 26 years) recommended Dave for this job. I found him professional, personal and very competent. No up selling, a reasonable conversation on options for the jobs to be done. The expense was high because Chevy sells hubs with ABS components built in, "modules" (grrr) that are not cheap.

I have been a customer of this business for sixteen years. They have always been professional and courteous. They provide a wide spectrum of auto service.
