It was a lot of blood work but it is a senior cat. I think the cost was about $350. They are very thorough. It is a beautiful facility and the doctor we use is very very knowledgeable. We lost a pet last spring. She died while I was driving her there. When I got there, they ushered me right in and made sure she was gone which she was. They let me stay as long as I needed to. They visited with me. They are very compassionate and are very thorough. They are a little pricey. We have been going there for 7 years and we will continue.

I would use them again in future.

We've used them for years and they're great. They're a good friendly hospital and they provide good pet care. They're always there when you need them. They take good care of us. They're a little on the high side but I think you get what you pay for. They have a nice staff and they have a large clinic that provide a lot of services. They even give away a lot of free stuff. If you call them, they will provide information on counseling and things like that for free. We have to put several animals down and they're very good with that.

We keep our dog here over a weekend while we visited out of town relatives. They do a great job.

We adopted an abused and neglected German Shepherd through a rescue group. Suffice to say he had his share of emotional issues but was an overall good dog. There was no way we could leave him home alone during the day while we were at work, so we had to find suitable daycare for him. The first place we took him to called us in one hour and told us to come get him and never bring him back. Running out of options, we called Blue Springs, who had been highly recommended by a friend who had taken her German Shepherd to them with great results. I called out there and explained the issues to them, and they encouraged us to bring him out there so they could work with him. At first, there were a lot of challenges, as our dog was very mistrustful and had a lot of separation anxiety. That was almost 2 years ago. He now pulls us into the place when we get there because he loves it so much. He totally trusts and adores the workers, and he is an entirely different dog now. This place literally saved his life. Their doggy daycare is not simply putting the dogs in a cage for the day; twice a day they have an hour long playtime where they put the dogs together in a room (small and big breed have different times) and let them play together while the workers actively interact with them. I can't stress how much the daycare has benefitted our dog. We have to drive 40 minutes each way to get there, but it is worth it, if you love your dog and need the professional attention and care. If you have a dog with issues, call them and they will gladly discuss with you what can be attempted. Finally, the vet services are very good and professional as well, for our dog and our cats.

We have been using BSAH for nearly 15 years. Absolutely love all of the staff. Everyone from reception desk to the vet techs to the resort staff to the doctors are kind, attentive and caring.
We have five dogs, so needless to say we are at the vet A LOT!
Our dogs' health is truly their top priority. They do our twice a year checkups and of course any emergencies we have they always do their best to work us in. If we take the dogs in for illness or injury, they always call a day or two after and check up on the 'patient' and make sure they are getting better and we aren't having any issues.
If the dog eats something random, I can always call up there and get a quick answer if it's okay or we need to bring them in.
The dogs are always greeted by the front desk staff by name and if they aren't crazy busy they come out from behind the desk and love on them and/or play with them.
Doggie Daycare is fabulous! Our baby always looks forward to it and comes home exhausted! And sometimes you get sent home with picture(s) from daycare and they always put Daycare pictures on their Facebook page. If you are there at the right time you can watch the dogs play in daycare through the window in the lobby too.
I'm sure some think the pricing at BSAH is ridiculous as I've heard it's a bit higher than other practices, but honestly, the top notch care we get, I wouldn't go anywhere else. You get what you pay for and at BSAH, it's the best of best!

The vet suggested biopsies as the blood tests didnt reveal answers they were looking for. I knew they always tried to upcharge every visit so I inquired as to what the cost would be and was told approx. $1000. I left with my cat and did some investigating on my own. Come to find out bengals dont digest 'cat food' well. They're still very much wild and really need a diet of raw food. He's been eating raw food now for the past 5 years and has never been better. No vomiting, no obesity issues, very good health.

They have a group of very caring, well-trained and customer service oriented staff available. They also provide daycare as well as pet boarding and grooming services.

I went there a couple of weeks ago. Everything was really good but I thought their prices were high.

They're very compassionate and good but the pricing is expensive.

They are friendly, know my dogs and work us in if something comes up; they are right there for us.

She is fantastic !They provide great services for my dog. The prices are good . We had a dog that was with us for about 18 months prior to her death last January . we made several visits to this facility due to our previous dog was very ill. The vet would come into the facility during her hours off in the evening to check on my dog's condition. I would call the service and would be transferred directly to her private cell number. She would answer the call and I found out she was actually there in the office rocking and holding my sick dog. She was taking her personal time to come into the facility to check on the animals even though she has small children at home. She would take this time to perform another test or just provide some extra tender loving care to my dog. She was right there for my dog.We use their resort services also for our dog to spend 4-5 days with them. I will definitely continue to use there services.

I arrived 30 minutes late with my Puggle in tow. The receptionist I worked with was kind despite my tardiness and offered my dog a rawhide to help settle her (she was excited and barking). Although I had missed my appointment Dr. Ryder was able to still see me.
This was my 3rd time visiting himin January getting all my animals up to date on their vaccinations.
The appointment ran smoothly. I was able to get my Puggle's anal glands expressed even though I forgot to tell the clinic ahead of time. Dr. Ryder administered the vaccinations quickly before my dog had a chance to understand what was going on. His physical examination was thorough and he talked me through each process while he was examining her.
We discussed my dogs weight as she is 5lbs overweight. I asked for suggestions on what food to feed her. Dr. Ryder provided his recommendation along with a calorie comparison of several dog foods. He emphasized that while food plays a part in weight, exercising my dog will ultimately get her to an ideal weight.
I never felt rushed though I expected it since I was late. Dr. Ryder is always a pleasure to work with. His demeanor is friendly and welcoming, never condescending. All of the vet techs that work alongside him in his appointments have been cheerful and caring as well.
I originally started going to Blue Springs Animal Hospital because that was where my husband's family always took their dogs. Now I go because I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Their care is of really good quality. They are very professional. They know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend them. I would use them in the future.
