Initially it looked fine. I had concerns namely that he turned the work over to a brand new employee and non-English speaking employees and was rarely around to provide instruction.  They also jackhammered the wing walls off my foundation without telling me they were going to do foundation modifications.  They did a good job of clean-up and we initially were pleased with the result.

Turner told me to expect some settling and he would come back and repair it and put on a polymer sand that would seal up the seams.  He did send a crew to do that to do that.  Unfortunately, the polymers left a film over the pavers and his crew overfilled the fillets between the bricks which hardened and looked terrible.

Since being installed the stoop and sidewalk have continued to deteriorate. My flagpole was not planted deep enough to be used and it is now unusable.   My front stoop has settling and the sand washing out and the pavers are sinking and it is now a trip/ fall hazard. When we tried to get the work repaired  Jeff Turner the owner initially gave us a bunch of double talk and excuses and eventually quit returning calls. Eventually, his phone messages said that he would no longer take calls or work from another city and to leave a message for work here locally and his partner would call us back.  No one did. 

I contacted Belgard and all they will do is refer me to one of their other contractors to pay them to do the repairs. That now appears to be my only recourse.  I am retired and disabled and cannot do the repairs myself.  My wife and I finally did get rid of the film brushing the surface with a wire brush and white cider vinegar.  For a couple of 60+ year olds that's the best we can do.
