Better than expected! I called at 5:15pm hoping to get an appointment the following day, and the technician arrived within an hour and completed the repairs. I'm so grateful to have such a great local business in my area!

They responded quickly and fixed the problem with the door. I was very happy that they were able to determine what was wrong and worked on it a long time to make sure it was fixed correctly. I would definitely use this company again for just about anything dealing with doors. I have worked with a lot of contractors for a lot of problems over the years and these guys were the best. Thank you.

Very professional! Owner was very knowledgable about products he offered. Never tried to up sell. There was a small mix up once they arrived, but was quickly corrected.

 First, the quote was made the same day as initial request. Troi was on time, courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable of services and products. He took the time to explain many options,but he knew I was on a budget so he did not do an intrusive sales pitch, I felt very comfortable during the estimate. The extra time he took to explain things to me was so appreciated. Second, the scheduled service date was fast, with in two days on contract, here we are, with a completed project.  Brian showed up on time and was prepared, respectful and helpful. He was polite and offered explanations,and asked if we had any questions before he began, and then he was off and running. He did Not waste any time, he was meticulous about the quality of his work. The product looks great, he just finished, ahead of schedule, and I am pleased!

Why do these things always happen on a weekend? (Ha!)

One of the springs on our double garage door snapped as I was heading out of the garage, sending the door slamming to the ground. In the process, the plate where the travel arm attaches to the door to raise it was ripped out. That means there was no manual raising of the door.

I've used 5 Star Garage Door Service in the past, so I called again. The office team was unfailingly friendly and sympathetic, offering to give me the first early morning spot they had the next day (Saturday).

Troy, the owner, called as he was enroute (which I greatly appreciated). He arrived exactly when he said he would -- to the minute, in fact. He got right to work replacing the broken spring and attaching a heavier duty plate for the travel arm. He lubed up the track and rollers, made sure all was working well before he left after a little over an hour.

One man husband and wife business. Friendly, talkative. Will not sell you something you do not need. Don't be concerned about the old service van. He was prompt.

We invited Mr. Troy Rouse, the owner of 5 Star Garage Door Service to come out to give us a bid on a new insulated garage door. He made us a fair offer on a new insulated door. We needed to have the new door painted to match the color of the old one. He did a great job on painting the new door and waited until it was fully dry to install it. We were very happy with new door and with the way he dealt with us. Recently (fall of 2012), we had a metal rear door on our walkout basement that needed adjustment. We called Mr. Rouse and asked him to take a look. He gave us a fair quote and we had him make the repair to the door. He did an outstanding job! We've now had 5 Star do two jobs for us. We will absolutely use them again for routine maintenance on our garage door. They are honest and friendly business people.

They cam in and figured out what part was broken. They had it in the van and replaced it. Was very nice and fast.

One of the garage door tension springs broke as we were heading to a neighbor's party on Saturday night. The broken spring caused the door to lurch sideways, popping off numerous rollers and unraveling the side cables; looked like a wet envelope hanging in mid-air. Luckily, someone at the party had the number to 5 Star Garage Door Service. Owner Troy couldn't make it out that night, but he promised to be at our home at 8 a.m. the next day -- a Sunday! Troy arrived at exactly 8 a.m., clean, uniformed, and ready to tackle the job. He spent 2 hours replacing the damaged components and fine-tuning the repairs. Not only is our garage door working again, it's smoother and quieter than it's been in the 6 years that we've had it! Sure, we didn't like having to spend that kind of money in an emergency, but we're extremely pleased with the work that Troy did -- and on a weekend! Troy has over 20 years experience, many of them with a well-known garage door installer/repair service. It's obvious that he knows what he's doing with his own business, and provides great customer service. His number is now in my cell phone, should I -- or someone else -- need his services again. I highly recommend 5 Star Garage Door Service!
