Bathtub Restoration
I scheduled the bathtub to be reglazed in the morning prior to a vacation, because you are not supposed to use the tub for 48 hours after application. After waiting several hours, I called the company, and he said that he forgot. He tried to reschedule, but since I was leaving on vacation, I wanted to get the job done. He said that he would be over in an hour, but it took him several hours to arrive. Once he arrived, he quickly set about covering the tile, floor and fixtures in the tub. He applied several layers of glaze to the tub. After about 2 months, the tub developed a bubble, and he came out to fix it. After another 2 months, the tub liner developed a bubble. After talking with the company repeatedly and scheduling several times for them to come out and fix the problem and them not showing up or calling, I gave up. The first layer of glaze is now slowly flaking off.
