Requested a review and quote from Chris Young, aka and quot;The Hardwood Guyand quot;. He came out and measured the entire job, talked to me about what I wanted to do (refinish existing hardwood floor and lay new hardwood...wanted the old and new to seamlessly match. He gave me a quote, which was approximately $1,000 less than another installer that my contractors used. Signed the contract and Chris was very accomodating as to arranging his schedule around mine and addressing any concerns that I had during the job. (Had to cancel and reschedule a couple of times.) His team came out and handled everything beautifully. I was a little concerned because his team was very young. One young man's conversation was unprofessional and he dinged my baseboards...he was a trainee. I spoke with Chris about it and the young man did not return to my job. Chris' team finished the job quickly and professionally. Chris himself came out on the final visit to supervise the finish work. All in all, I feel that I got a beautiful floor at a very competitive price.

Chris and his guys were always puntual (even a little early sometimes). They came in and did a great job. I would say they even exceeded expectations.

They scrapped the damaged areas of the floor and re-stained and polished the same with several layers. The repaired the kitchen and dining area in the ground floor, the same upstairs too. I called them an evening and they turned up the next morning to do the job. I was extremely pleased with their job. They were reasonable in price and definitely worth the money. I liked their services and will continue to use the same in future.
