"Thank you for the review. We appreciate all feedback, even when we disagree with the characterization of our service. Our pricing is transparent and based on industry standards, including labor, parts, and the expertise of our expert technicians. In this case, our master technician provided a detailed diagnosis of your high-end Viking range and offered two repair options: one using aftermarket igniters and another with more costly OEM Viking parts. These options were clearly outlined, and you declined both. While we understand that some customers may choose to handle repairs themselves, professional appliance repair involves more than just part replacement—it includes expert diagnosis, warranty coverage, liability protection, and ensuring the longevity of your appliance. We stand by our pricing and service and regret that you feel otherwise. Nonetheless, we appreciate the opportunity to have assessed your range and provided you with the information needed to make an informed decision. If you have any further concerns, we are always happy to discuss them directly."
"The complaint on the ticket says; "the control panel is not working, no lights, not responding to anything." Just to clarify we are an appliance repair service company. We are not electricians, plumbers, carpenters, or heating and cooling techs. We specialize in one thing and that is appliances. Our tech removed the lower front panel to the dishwasher and then he removed the power cord junction box to confirm if 120 volts was being delivered to this dishwasher. Our tech quickly discovered this dishwasher was only receiving "8" volts from the customer's house. Our tech examined the outlet and, once it was determined no power was present, left the dishwasher unplugged. At that point our tech informed the customer he needed an electrician. Our service call diagnostic fee was only $95. Our service call diagnostic fee includes us coming to the home, diagnosing the appliance, letting the customer know exactly what is wrong with it, repair options, if there are any options. And we'll let the customer know if the appliance is worth repairing or not. We completed all of these tasks. This customer is upset that he called us, then called an electrician and found out it was something simple he could have corrected himself. We are not licensed electricians. We are not authorized by city, state or counties to perform electrical repairs inside customers’ homes. We can work on the appliance but we cannot go further into electrical repair work. We tried to explain these rules to this customer, but he doesn't understand. As a result of being honest and delivering the correct information, we receive a one-star review. It is also noteworthy to point out that we delivered accurate diagnostics and whoever he called as an electrician was able to correct the issue and the dishwasher is now back on and working. If you reread his review, you will see that he is not being honest. There is nothing in his review that says that there was an actual failure with his dishwasher and we missed the diagnosis. We were spot-on."
"[Member Name Removed], your Electrolux dishwasher is covered under the first year warranty through Electrolux. We received a dispatch to come look at your dishwasher. We are required, pursuant to the contract of Electrolux, to call the Electrolux factory technical support line upon arrival. These are the requirements from Electrolux. This is done to ensure proper diagnostics is performed on all appliances sold with the Electrolux name brand. Our technician followed protocol. It was diagnosed that your unit needed a water fill valve. You claim that the unit was not draining. That was not the case. Actually, the unit is filling when it was not supposed to. We advised you of our findings and we ordered the part. When our technician arrived to your home to install the part. You became combative, argumentative and you refused to allow our technician to repair your appliance following the guidelines set forth from your warranty company. We are just following protocols from your warranty company. We are sorry that you’re frustrated and upset. We understand that appliance failures are never convenient. Please call us if you would like to discuss anything further. We would love the opportunity to turn this into a five star review."
"[Member Name Removed], We are pleased to hear that the next company replaced the exact same control board that we advised you would possibly have to be replaced. As we stated, it'[Member Information Removed] the chicken / egg question... which one came first? There is no way for us to continue the repair/troubleshooting unless we replace the one known bad part to then test for proper operation. The first part that we replaced was defiantly defective. We are sorry that you're not happy with the product you purchased and the failure. We did not make the appliance... we did not sell it to you... we did not cause your appliance to fail. Sometimes there are more that one defective parts. It'[Member Information Removed] sad that you take your anger regarding your broken appliance out on us. Please mail us the invoice/receipt from the the last company that was at your home and we will review for a refund."
