STEVE'S FENCE CO

Description of Work: Steve Layman, owner of Steve's Fence Company, Belton, Mo. took $3500.00 from me, and $3600.00 from my neighbor for materials for a fence around our yards. He admitted spending our money on another job. He will not return phone calls. I sent a complaint to the Better Business bureau, Missouri State Attorney General, Lees Summit, Mo police, and Cass County Processors office. This began when I wrote a check to Mr. Layman on 4/10/2010. He admitted he had spent my money the 2nd week of July. At this time, no effort to pay me back. I had to get another company to complete the job, after he admitted he didn't have my money and was unable to get the materials to complete my fence. He did the same thing to my next door neighbor. He should be on TV Problem Solvers Channel 4 at 9:00 PM on 08/16/2010. The last email I got from him was that his attorney would be intouch to set up payments to me. I AM NOT HIS BANKER. I WANT A FULL REFUND OF THE MONEY THAT I GAVE HIM FOR MATERIALS. HE SHOULD SETTLE UP ASAP. IF HE FAILS TO DO THIS, HE SHOULD BE PUT OT OF BUSNIESS AND NOT DO THIS TO OTHERS.
