Odom's Bugs-B-Gone & Odom's Lawn Solutions

When I first started using them I was moving from my previous house to the house where I live now, and when I went to sell it, they oh you have termites and you have to have those treated before you can sell your house. Fine, I get that. So, I called three companies and got three bids and theirs literally was the middle bid but the guy when he came out was so good about really telling me about what the different things they were doing were that, that's what really made the difference.

The job was done well! There is a smell for 2-3 days on the back porch, but then became faint. There are no more bug bites when playing in the yard or watering plants!! It is a great feeling to know you won't get bug bit and be itching for days. No ill effects on the cats and the dog either. Grandkids are coming to visit. So glad we got this done! Jimmy Odom is a real professional, and so polite. He answered all my questions. Did the job quickly too.

All of the reviews I've read said Odom was prompt, professional and courteous.  Wow were they all correct!  I was a little blown away with how professional Jimmy was.  Very professional.. explained everything very thoroughly, and he wasted no time getting to work with everything.  I work from home, so I didn't want to stay away from my office for too long... well, not a problem... Jimmy was able to get everything done while I was working, and I couldn't be happier!  I will definitely have my friends and family use Odom's service.  I'm very satisfied with my experience, and I plan on being a customer for life!  I bet my little vole friends won't like me anymore now :)

Always punctual, polite and professional. We have been using their services since building our home in 2008. Other pest control companies always seem to be up selling some random add on service or trying to lock you into a contract. Odom's provide exactly what you need without nickle&diming and trying to sell you unnecessary fluff.

They arrived in a punctual manner, performed the work quickly and professionally, and I am incredibly happy with the results.  I never see bugs, spiders, etc. in the house.  I would recommend these guys to everyone.  I can't wait for them to come back out next week to spray again!

For the most part working with ODOM'S over the past many years was a good experience.  I don't think you can beat the price for the service provided.  They always showed up on time, well actually 30 minutes early on most occasions which was fine as long as I was home.  Note that on the 1 occasion I was not home 30 minutes early ODOM's did wait patiently until I arrived.  ODOM's was always friendly and professional.  ODOM's sprayed a mixture along the baseboards inside the house 4 times a year keeping the bug population to a minimum. And before we replaced our wood shingle roof with composite shingles ODOM's would treat the attic too for silverfish. 



A couple of suggestions for ODOM's to provide a better experience centers around "the customer is always right" even when the professional knowledge says the customer isn't.  Many times ODOM's would ignore our concerns over pest issues with a "I'm the expert and this is how it is" type attitude.  For example, the silverfish did not totally disappear after the wood roof was gone but ODOM's no longer treated the attic saying that the silverfish most likely were coming from somewhere other than the attic because they like wood.  Another example is the major box elder bug population in 2012 upon which we queried and ODOM's insisted it is because of the box elder trees nearby yet there are no box elder trees nearby.  Also, in the end once we decided to switch companies we found that our new pest control company does a lot more than ODOM's albeit at a higher cost.

I like them a lot.  They’re punctual and friendly.  They show up when they’re supposed to unlike a lot of other people.  It’s a family owned business.  The staff is nice and the quality of their work is very good.  I don’t have bugs anymore, and so it must be really good.

I have them on a service agreement where they come out quarterly to spray, and they've been out 3 times now. They're punctual, polite, and professional, and they accommodate my work hours. They send me postcards when it's time to schedule the next appointment. They spray inside and out, and are especially careful to treat for spiders. I have pets, and they've shown no adverse effects to the chemicals. I also have had very few problems with bugs and spiders, despite the mild winter.

They have been out twice in the last week because we found a problem after they left.  I think they were very good and were much cheaper than the quote we got from Terminex.  They do service for my sister in law. They are an excellent company, I would recommend them to anybody.

We have used them for many many years. They are very nice, friendly, and very professional. They get in and do what they need to and then get out. Sometimes they leave coupons that you can use for future visits.   

They are very good.  They worked with me to help me with ant problem that I had some years ago and I haven't had one since.  They are very nice and I've had no issues with them at all.  I think its $32 or $33 every month and in the summer and spring.  It's also the same quarterly and they have other options that I used to get, but I now don’t get now like if I want the yard sprayed for fleas and ticks. If I paid ahead of time for 3 months I get a 10% discount.  Otherwise, it's $100 a month or something.  What they've done has kept the bugs away so far.  They are professional and polite.  They put little goodies on my feet.  If they forget something for some reason or if it's raining that day, they'll come back and do particularly the outside when it's not raining.  I've had 100s of ants in my bedroom and they took care of that.  Their pricing is pretty good.  I've had no problems with their quality.  They are pretty responsive.  Their punctuality is usually good, but it depends on whether they are stuck in another house for some reason.  Otherwise, they'll usually call me if they are going to be more than 10 minutes late.  I've been using them for 6 years now and would continue to use them in the future.
