Thank you Merry Maids of Belton - you came to my rescue at the last minute and I am so very grateful!!! I was having company over on Sunday and due to illness earlier in the week, I realized on Thursday that I wasn't going to be able to clean my home on Saturday as planned. I called Merry Maids of Belton on Thursday morning to inquire of their services - as I had not used a cleaning service since having moved to the KC area several years ago. After the initial conversation, I waited a bit for them to call me back, after checking with their schedule, and they were able to accommodate me the next day (Friday). The price was $40 / hour - which after checking other places in the surrounding area, was very reasonable. They asked me to make a priority list and have it available. The individual came the next day at the allotted time and was very professional, quick, thorough and a pleasure to have in my home. The priority list was completed with a little bit of extra time for me to add a couple of other items - all completed within the 2 hour period as I had thought would occur.

With this pleasant experience, I fully expect to use Merry Maids of Belton in the future to perform a deep cleaning of my home later this spring. I've read other reviews that indicate they'll do blinds, baseboards, etc... A most satisfied customer and I thank you.

Arranged in advance the service I was requesting and provided a key for entry. So while I was at work they came in and cleaned the entire house. I could immediately tell when I walked in the house, my the clean smell and shining hardwood floors. I went room to room and was amazed at their thorough cleaning.

They do a pretty good job. They are always on time and they clean and they check everything. I don't have to stand around to check if they get in to my jewelery box or anything. They are honest. I think their price is a little high. I called them on short notice and they came the next day. I am satisfied with them.

I have had services for a couple of years. All correspondence I have had with office regarding rescheduling, payment etc has been wonderful. The cleaning is generally only okay. I have asked a few times for a few additional services to be included (such as sliding door and front screen door to be cleaned). This is never done. There have been instances when some items have been completely overlooked. They do okay for a surface clean.

My first cleaning was GREAT! The only details they forgot were to clean under the couch cushions (apparent from the amount of dog hair still there), empty the paper shredder, and vacuum the bathroom rugs. All of these items are advertised on their website as being standard procedure. But it was the first professional deep clean my house had ever received. I contacted Merry Maids to let them know I was pleased, but the three things had been overlooked. I was assured those details would be addressed at their next visit. The second visit I was home when they arrived. At the end of the cleaning I asked the team leader if she had cleaned under the cushions because it had been missed last time. She told me that she knew it was done last time because she did it. I told her, "No, I think it was missed." She responded with, "Yes it was because I was down here and did it." She also told me it was not a standard procedure and since I was requesting it, it would be done next time. I was more than taken aback by being challenged by the housekeeper and basically being called a liar. I addressed the situation with her boss and the boss assigned a new team to the house. The 3rd cleaning was done by 1 woman, the same woman who had been there the first time. The only difference was the 1 woman wasn't present. The cleaning was done well and I was pleased. The 4th cleaning I was left the paperwork stating the dining room had been deep cleaned. It was to have the fan blades dusted, window sills wiped, curtains dusted, glass cleaned. NONE of the extra or standard tasks had been completed. It was VERY obvious by the thick layer of dust shown on the china hutch in the morning sunlight. At that point, I was done. If a company tells me in person, on their website AND through feedback they leave me each time something is going to be done, I expected it to be done. I don't feel I was being picky by only expecting what was promised. I cancelled their future cleanings and asked for my house key to be returned.
