Bobby Brownell Flatworks LLC framed, formed and poured ne concrete for me. This job as I said looked like a million bucks. I was so happy with the work that was done.
In less than a year and slightly over a year much of this concrete is cracked up. I paid for heavy duty concrete and did not get it. The concrete used by the contractor was a 4000 pound mix which is the minimum you can use for this part of the country. I thought he would order heavy duty mix that I paid him for. That would be at least a 6000.00 pound to preferably 8000.00 pound mix.
Either way the contractor has never made good on what he said he would do for me almost two years later. Plus became combative and indicating bodily harm to me on the phone when I am trying to get some repairs done to my concrete.
I remove my A-plus recommendation on this company and now give a F. Do not use this company.
This contractor did the best work by far of anyone that has ever worked on my home. I have lived here for twenty six years and have had a lot of crap work done, and some of the contractors came highly recommended by word of mouth. To many of them were very poor. So I joined Angie's list. While Bobby Brownell came referred by people I know real well, and not Angie's list this time. I am posting this review. If you need concrete flat work done this is the company to call.
To give you a better idea of what I got for 7500.00 dollars I will post it another way.
All lumber used for framing, and misc - materials
Many sticks of rebar.
18 yards of concrete at 126.00 dollars per yard
Gravel spread for side drive, 45 tons of it.
Job site clean up.
I am personally hauling my old busted up concrete away as to save some on this fine job.
Just a note my home is worth maybe 125.000 dollars, and they treated the job just like they do on their frequent half million, to million dollar homes they work in Johnson County, Kansas.
