KENT'S PEST CONTROL

We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of the service. Our home was remodeled some years prior and has a combination of crawl space, built up floor over slab, and slab as well as a 20X12 deck. We also have extensive perennial beds and shrubs completely around the perimeter of it all. I realized that this would complicate the pesticide application work and cost more. I had done some research and had told my wife that work on this scope would likely cost about $1,000 if we were lucky. The Rich is the owner of the business and he did the inspection. He is a licensed pesticide applicator and carries liability insurance as required by law. I like this type of govt regulation. The first time he entered our home he put on hospital type foot coverings. We found out that was standard procedure for him and his assistant every time thereafter. Rich was professional, friendly, could joke, and take a joke. He was a nice person to deal with. Due to the frequent rains we were having and the need to apply the treatment when the ground was sufficiently dry they came on our first scheduled day and determined they could not do the work. Rich asked if we objected if they did the work on the next Sunday as it appeared that was the best window of opportunity. We agreed and so that is when they came. My wife was amazed at the minimal amount of disturbance down to her plantings. They hand trenched completely around the perimeter of the foundation and did not damage a single plant. Believe me she sure has a lot of them. She was tickled. Through the course of the work it was necessary that drilling be done about every foot along the inside perimeter of the slab. They had to move shelving, plastic recycling containers, kindling box, shoes and boots (we are country folk and we have lots). I figured this would result in a big mess. I was wrong. When completed each hole was neatly plugged with a plastic material. Every item was carefully placed back exactly where it was. They even paired off and lined up all our shoes and boots!
