Description of Work: He changed the pump from my well when the water would not come up anymore.

Description of Work: Called Mr. Bell about our shallow well pump on 04/20/2011 not working. He came to our residence. He said points were sticking & said he cleaned rust out of jet. (this is what is on ticket) charged $197.00 for 1hr work. At that time he told us we were probably looking at having to replace the pump. We discussed that when the time came we would like to have a jacuzzi pump so that it would last us & not give us anymore problems. Our pump stopped working again & we again had to call Mr. Bell. We told him to replace the pump. I had doctor appts that day & my father who has dementia was home with a check to pay Mr. Bell. Mr. Bell gave him the bill which he paid. When I returned from my doctor visits I noticed the water pressure in the house was horrible. We didn't have enough pressure to have to work the shower, the washer, flush the toilet, nor fill a sink for dishes. The water just came out in a trinkle. I immediately called Mr. Bell & asked him what was going on. He said he guessed when he hooked everything back up the rust clogged everything up & that we would have to clean all the pipes & screens to get water flow. I called my brother who does some plumbing on the side to come because I am no plumber & cannot do these things. We had doctor appts again the next day when he arrived & he called us on our way home, He said there was water standing in the pump house & it was leaking & tightened up the place where it was loose. Then he asked me what type pump had I asked the plumber to put on because he knew what we had discussed & I told him. He then told me that the one he had put on was one that sells for $139 & not the Jacuzzi pump I had requested. He also said had he ran out all the rust before reconnecting I would not have had all the problems. He got my sinks working but his house had 3 ft of water standing in it from the floods we had. That night I called Jimmy & asked him to come back along with my preacher. He said the reason he put that pump on instead of the one I had ordered was he did not have one in stock & would not put the one I ordered even though I told him I would drive to go get it 10 miles away. He also would do nothing about the rust build up, I had to hire another plumber & my preacher worked for 2 days getting my toilet to work. In all I was out over $1500.00 for something that should have cost no more than $650 at the very most.
