"We installed the [Member Name Removed]'s a new concrete driveway in November2018. In September 0f 2020 Mrs. [Member Name Removed] called to say they had an issue with the approach wing and that they had a crack across a pad (section) of the driveway. After repairing the [Member Name Removed] & inspecting the hairline crack that had moved from the control joint across the pad, which in our experience can happen, I tried to reassure the Fergusons that concrete does crack (hairline) sometimes outside of the joints but that their driveway showed no movement of the pads due to the re-bar and compacted base installed in and under the driveway. We have been in the concrete business almost 40 years and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. We state in our contracts that we do NOT warranty concrete from cracking in this manner. We spoke with Mrs. [Member Name Removed] in length before she signed the contract regarding this policy and also gave them a 5 year warranty against "any sinking/settling or cracks wider than 1/4". We will stand by this warranty should this occur."
"We appreciate your business! Thank you."
