He didn't do the work. He was supposed to repair the roof and he didn't. Cabinets were also installed incorrectly. In response I took him to court and won the lawsuit against him. I would of course never recommend him.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
$13,000
They are holding $5,000 of my money for work that they haven't even done yet (for windows, bathtub, and new tile in bathroom), and i'm going to have to have most of the work redone for several thousands of dollars. I asked them to come back and fix the problems and finish what they had started, the owner got very verbally abusive and I won't repeat what he called me. The owner's brother parked his truck on my front lawn and ruined it, I also have painting equipment that turned up missing after his crew had been here. Without my permission, he ripped off my beautiful 7 foot entry door and put up a cheap 5 foot steel door, I told him not to do anything with it but he took it. They damaged porcelain tile in my kitchen. The work is so bad it is unbelievable, and there is so much work unfinished and done poorly. Almost everything will have to be redone. I even bought the cabinets and fixtures, and on his final invoice, he tried to charge me for them. It was a horrible experience.

Overall terrible experience. Price started at $9500. ''Oh, you want the drywall taped and mudded, that's $750'' ''Oh, you want me to run the electric wiring, That's $500'' ''Oh, you want me to install the windows (that he measured and ordered), that's $250. All of the above items (and more) we had discussed but didn't have in writing; my fault for not insisting in detail in writing. He worked 2-3 days a week and didn't even show up some weeks. I'd call and he'd say he had to finish another job. I know several things will need to redone just to pass code when we go to sell. I would NEVER rehire him.
