RUGGERI PAINTING & DECORATING

It was AWEFUL. I had to hire another firm to repaint the entire house. it looked like he used a mop to stain the woodwork. THIS GUY IS A FREAK STAY AWAY.

Everything went well. Quality of finished product is excellent. Job took longer then anticipated, due in large part to stripping wallpaper that had been glued directly onto drywall, which was extremely time consuming and difficult. Also, he stained the wood beams in all the rooms, which were located all around the walls and on the ceiling. They were previously painted black and he stained them to more of a brown, natural wood color. We do intend to hire him again in the future to paint more of our rooms. We would recommend him to others.

Mr. Ruggeri was referred to us and we were greatly disappointed in part of his work! He is very knowledgeable of colors and paint finishes. We were impressed with his work in the larger areas and with the fireplace. We were greatly disappointed with his painting in our bathroom. The bathroom was initially painted a BRIGHT red. A softer shade was selected (to our liking) but the painting was very sloppy! Tom did not finish painting the wall where the sink would be mounted, saying, "I thought a vanity would cover that part of the wall". Regardless, he should have painted the entire bathroom. We stupidly paid him the balance because he said he would return to finish painting the wall and get the red paint off the white trim and ceiling. After several calls, he failed to respond and we gave up trying to contact him. If we would have not been so trusting, we would have gave him final payment when he completed the job.

TOM, MANAGED TO PERFECTLY MATCH THE OLD COLOR, AND REPAINT OUR YELLOW COLONIAL. WE REALLY DIDN'T LIKE ANY OF THE NEW HOUSE PAINT COLORS ON THE MARKET, SO WE APPRECIATED HIM GOING THE EXTRA MILE TO GET THE COLOR JUST PERFECT. HE DID A GREAT JOB, AND IS A SUPER NICE GUY, VERY HONEST, AND PROFESSIONAL.
