"We were happy to be able to serve your dogs. It can be a challenge to provide appropriate care , as you know, for a middle-age small dog and a young, silly large puppy. But as you recognized, our sitter did a fine job and both dogs did well. I am not sure what more we could have done to receive an "A" rating for the "Overall" score. "It is so nice to hear from this owner again. It has been a couple of years since we have seen her wonderful basset hound! I am hoping all is okay with them. This family has used us for several generations of dogs and they have the nicest dogs you could ever want to know. I am confused by the "B" for responsiveness in that I feel I have always dropped everything to be sure we served this family even with last minute calls. I am sorry that she didn't believe we earned an "A" and would love to be able to discuss that with her anytime. But as usual, we are always happy to hear from this family and to get to see and care for her delightful bassets."

She made herself right at home with the family and seemed to enjoy the company of another dog who was matched carefully and wouldn't bug her to play. She is a good example of what and why we do what we do best. We take the time to get specific information from the owner over the phone so we can really know what would make her comfortable. I know it was hard for this family to leave their older girl, but was glad to be able to show them that she was happy and comfortable with this service and thus free them up if they want or need to travel again."

"We have had the privilege of working with this family through 3 generations of dogs - since 2000! They have once again added a wonderful dog to their family and she has been loved by the sitters since 2012. A gentle, kind girl! I am sorry that our price got a "B" rating. I want people to know that if they boarded with most kennels, we are actually cheaper than they are even before thye add fees on for medications, playing with the dog, taking walks etc. We do not add on fees for food, medications, exercising, playing or loving the dogs and thus are usually less expensive than a stay at the kennel. I think that people appreciate the individualized care we give to each pet and that is why they continue to use this service for years and years. I am honored to be trusted to offer this service to the dogs in the St. Louis area."

"We are always happy to care for this family's wonderful dog. I am not sure why this review is different than their Oct.14, 2014 review which was glowing. We have not gone up in price since then and remain competitive, if not lower, in price than other boarding facilities. This dog, as stated in their previous review, has always been placed with the sitter they requested, and she continues to provide their dog with a loving, caring second home. I am not sure why they gave a "B" in responsiveness. I have never not responded to their requests and have done so as.quickly as possible. In my memory, there has never been much of a delay. I will continue to strive to provide the very best in care for the dogs and cats of St. Louis in a timely manner knowing that I must be sure that sitters are not pressured to commit before they can do so reliably. If the family has any concerns about the price or responsiveness of Pet Sitters, I hope they will contact me."

"So happy to be able to care for this delightful Basset Hound. He is universally loved as was the previous generation of dogs who this family has owned over the past 10 years. They really know how to pick the most special guys and we are so happy they choose us to share them with. I understand how expensive pet care can be, but as it stands now, I am cheaper than most kennels if you have your dog walked twice a day and feed your own food, and we, of course, offer way more than that. I understand that I am either same price or cheaper than the newer services in town who try to duplicate my services. Again, I wish I could offer pet care services at a lower price, but since I share the income with my dedicated, wonderful sitters, I feel I am offering a lot of loving care at a fair price. We look forward to having this family's dog back anytime. He is one of those dogs who just makes you smile!!"

"I am so happy we could help with this special girl. I know there are people who would say that this disabled dog is too impaired to go on, but that means they haven't met her. She loves life and the people in it. She certainly takes some special handling but it was an honor to be part of her world."
