Off the Leash Dog Grooming

I recently moved to Ballwin area and was looking for new dog grooming place. I have a samoyed, Nicole treated him with love and care, Oscar excitedly went inside with her for bath and when i came to pick him back, he looked pure white and happy. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their pets to be treated with love and spend time with them instead of rushing. The prices are very reasonable too. I will be taking my Samoyed for grooming here from now on.... Thanks Nicole

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO OFF THE LEASH!!!Under managed, Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and should be shut down. Judy doesn't do business the right way. She fails to communicate to employees and customers alike, then blames others for her mistakes. The customer is not 'always right' here. They won't listen to how you want your dog cut. They'll be sure to do the opposite of what you asked. Judy manages to get rid of all the good employees and then treats the good ones like dirt till they leave. The ones that stay are usually on drugs during work hours, or didn't show up at all, which there won't be any consequences for. DO NOT bring your dog here. They do not care how your dog looks, but have no problem charging you 60-70 dollars for half of a bath, done by someone nodding off on heroin. One of their newer employees, Mary, was the only decent groomer there and they recently pushed her out as well. You would have a better chance grooming your dog on your own now. Ron is a great guy, that's the only reason they'd get a star in my opinion.

Both dogs appeared very relaxed and calm when we picked them up, which we can't say that about some other groomers we've used in the past. They did an EXCELLENT job on both, and their prices are reasonable. I was especially very impressed with how our long-haired dog looks now. We also liked the open set up they have here--all dogs can be seen at all times! No taking them to the "back". We will be returning!

This the best grooming experience. I have one pet that usually has anxiety when going to the groomers and they never complete the full treatment. The groomer we used that they like got married and moved out of town.

I called Judy and explained the situation and she suggested I bring my babies in to see the facility and meet her. This is the first establishment that has ever offer and take the time to meet my babies. She let them walk around for them to feel comfortable with the environment. The pets are in the same area as the groomers, which make them feel comfortable not isolated.

My large baby was able to finally get a complete grooming. She also got a trim and looks fantastic. I have been to several establishments and have never received professional and courteous service until now. I have already make another appt. for my babies. I can not say enough. Happy Happy client,

An extremely friendly and organized staff. I felt very comfortable with the staff, their facility, and leaving our dog with them. Quality of the work was excellent.

I used Angie's list to find a new groomer when I got totally frustrated with the groomer I was going to. I've taken my golden mix to Off the Leash twice now. I am completely happy with both visits. I started by visiting Off the Leash with my dog to get an idea of what they would do and how much it would cost. My golden mix has a heavy undercoat and requires a good brushing. She also needs some regular trimming, not a lot but I wanted to see what they would recommend. They suggested keeping her general look, just cleaning up around the ears, on the legs, behind and underbelly - which is just what I wanted. I was thrilled with the price quoted - $48, as I've taken this particular dog to 4 other groomers and the price has never been this low. The groomer I just left was charging me about twice this much - for the same service. The people are professional, the price is right and my dog looks beautiful when she leaves there. I like that the dogs are in the same big room with the groomers; they are never left alone. The one thing I'd like to see different is how long she is there. I'd prefer to take her in at a specific time and then generally it takes about 3 to 3 1/5 hours till she is ready for pick-up. Off the Leash has us bring her in before 9am - then they call when she is ready. So instead of a specific appointment time, all are to arrive between 8 and 9. So far it has not been that bad, she's been there about 5 hours. I have to admit, I did not have the discussion with the owner but if they do not expect to be able to complete this visit in 4 or 5 hours, I will ask her if there isn't a better plan for bringing her in closer to when they will actually be working with her. But I intend to continue to be a client of Off the Leash based on these first two visits - in fact, we already are on the schedule for mid-November. That is one other thing I liked, where others tried to convince me that we should be scheduled at least every 6 weeks, Off the Leash was fine with my 8 week plan.

Off the Leash is by appointment only, so after making an appointment we dropped our Keeshond off for a thorough grooming. Judy found out what we wanted. She keeps notes of all her clients. She gave a puppy cut to our dog per our request. He looked and smelled wonderful. He's been there several times and it always turns out great. We've been to several groomers around town, and Judy has the best quality of them all at the lowest price of any of them. You have to plan ahead because she does make appointments several weeks out and weekends fill up fast. It is clear she loves the dogs. I can't recommend her enough.

They did a fine job on the grooming. They originally quoted a price of $80, but since my dog is a little smaller than most Standard Poodle females, they charged $70.

Judy does a wonderful job making my dog look and smell great! She gets on the floor and gives him hugs and kisses. I have taken my dog there for about 4 years now. She is very caring and gentle with our dog and would recommend her highly.

Judy Neeter has a wonderful manner with dogs. She particularly handles rescue dogs beautifully. She is so very gentle and caring with them. She works with them to ease their fears. She does a very professional job and I highly recommend her.
