+ -1 more. I asked him if he would plant grass and cover with straw where he had been working. He told me I didn?t need the straw. This job was $5,000. The next day we had a tremendous rainstorm. I looked out the bedroom window, and the seed, mulch, and everything went down the hill. He did not install the edging. I called him; he asked what I wanted him to do. He asked if I would like him to come hold an umbrella over it. He came back over, re-seeded and installed the edging. There was another area he had not completed, he charged me $2,500 to finish.
Description of Work: He is a parishioner, so I thought he should be ok. I called him, he came out and I told him what needed to come down. I also let him know I wanted a flower bed in there, as well as edging. He took the tree down, didn’t get all the roots out (he promised he would). He installed a flower bed. I paid $5,000 for the first part, which floored me.
