Landscaping
Before starting the job, I had a conversation with one of the owners about contractor follow up after the job is done and payment. I was assured they did not operate that way. I have learned very differently. Just like one of the other reviewers here, I had a few problems after the job was finished. Minor problems. Two dead plants. The first response was that we should wait, the plant will come around soon. Waiting and tending the plant did not solve the problem. I was subsequently promised a visit to fix the problem, but no one has ever shown up. The second problem was that some of the plants they provided plants that were not the size and quality for the amount of cost. Ferguson was not the lowest bid I received, but based on the design they offered and the enthusiasm of the owner, I chose them. All in all, I feel they have acted unprofessionally. I am continuing to call them with no response. I have left many many voicemails on the mobile phone of one of the owners. No response.

The installation went very smooth even with the bad weather we've had this spring, our landscape designers Mike & Linda were very helpful throughout the entire process. Our new backyard is so beautiful, beyond what we even imagined in our heads. I would highly recommend them to any of our friends and will absolutely use them when we re-do our front landscaping. I am very surprised at one review given in 05, this is not the company I dealt with by any means. I have only had one warranty issue this far, one small plant died and the entire process was quick and easy. I called in talked to a young lady on the phone, Linda called me back promptly and the dead plant was replaced in a couple days.

They came up with a great design. They worked with me to answer any questions I had and made sure that I was happy with their plans. They coordinated with my sprinkler installation company on scheduling. The job was done beautifully.

THE PINK PRINCESS TREE ($277) DIED IMMEDIATELY, BUT WE WERE TOLD IT'S HIBERNATING AND TO WAIT TILL SPRING. WELL, A DEAD TREE CAN'T COME BACK TO LIFE... TOOK US MANY MANY CALLS TO GET FERGUSON TO COME AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES. THE DESIGN OF THE LANDSCAPING HAD MANY PROBLEMS AND FINALLY WE MET WITH JASON WHO PROMISED TO FIX IT. THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO AND NOTHING WAS FIXED AND JASON DOES NOT CALL BACK. FERGUSON USES AN ANSWERING SERVICE SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK WITH THEM AND THEY WILL NOT CALL BACK. THEY ARE PRICY, UNRELIABLE AND NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL. WE REQUESTED TO REPLACE THE DEAD PINK PRINCESS WITH A RED MAPLE AND THEY TOLD US THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY... STAY A WAY FROM FERGUSON GARDENS.
