Final product is beautiful! The project scope grew as I saw what great work Tony could accomplish in a short time. New walls, tile shower, tub, vanities, toilets, floor molding. window casing, and flooring and everything came out great. There were a few hiccups with this old house, but Tony would explain the issue and we would agree on the solution easy peasy. Very responsive, Tony wanted us to be happy and proud of the final product, I would highly recommend.

It went very well.  The project started and finished on schedule.  Turned out better than expected.  Very professional in approach and execution.  No complaints.  Will use them again.

Tony and a crew did a fabulous job. Great attention to detail. Kept us informed and made recommendations to address issues discovered during the job. Very professional. Left our home every day of the job and at the end of the job in great shape. Would use them again for any painting needs we had.

Tony was great. Came on time and did the jobs relatively well.   He did not paint in between the slats of the deck or the underside which would have been nice, however, he did tell me that unfront.   Overall the job was quite good and he was very personable and professional.
HOWEVER, when I have attempted to get him back for additional jobs, I've received no response.   Not certain if the job is "too small" but have been waiting for over 6 weeks and initially he responded, but then never followed up to my additional E mails.   Now have to have start all over with a new contractor.  Very disappointing.

It went great.  Only a few days delay because of weather but the job was completed within 2 days of the original set date.  Tony and Paul are very nice young men and do a good job.  I like Tony's approach that he wants to do my deck and any other work I have in the future.  Therefore he was sure to do a good job.

He replaced the railing and some damaged floor boards.

Excellent job in power washing my deck and fencing.  They made sure that all mold was removed.  Then they sprayed and brushed the fencing with solid stain.  During the staining of the deck they were careful to keep the overspray contained.  Finally, they brushed the deck with semi-transparent stain.  I couldn't be more pleased with their work and will definitely use them again.

George did an outstanding job.  He was very helpful and friendly.  His prices are extremely resonable.  I will use George for future projects.

Tony and his crew were awesome! I needed the work to be completed rather quickly so they juggled some things around and were able to get the job done, They were all extremely polite and very professional. Tony is very honest. My husband asked to have the back of the house power washed and a few other misc. things which were not included in the original quote. I was worried the price of the extra work would be extremely high since they did the work without a quote. Tony was very honest. He did some of the work for no charge and a very fair price on power washing the house. We need to have more work done and weI will use Distinctive Finishes by George Bunch.

Apparently glass tile is very tricky to work with, so Tony brought in a gentleman with a lot of experience in this area.  I was a bit worried that the work was being "contracted out", but Tony was there often and consulted with all of us every step of the way.  At the end of the job, we had a bit of a problem with some of the tile chipping at the ceiling (glass really is a pain).  Tony and his colleague were out immediately and fixed the problem.  The job took a total of 2 days and looks great.  We will definitely call on Tony again.

I've never met a contractor who is such a perfectionist.  I felt completely comfortable with both of them in my home.  Great professionals!

Tony power washed and rinsed our cedar deck. Allowing a couple of days for it to dry, he and his crew came back and brushed the new finish on the deck. They were thorough in the application of the stain, neat, cleaned up after themselves. Tony was very fair with his price - he was not the cheapest but for the relatively small difference his quality of work was excellent. In our case, pricing included some minor deck repairs which other bids did not include, so it probably was a wash in the end.

He and his crew were nice and easy to work with. I would certainly use them again!

All went well. The weathered caused the need to reschedule a couple of time. No surprises. Very professional.

Tony and team were very responsive and efficient. Tony and I met 3 days
ago to discuss repair work on our deck, which was necessary to gain our
occupancy permit from the city. They powerwashed the deck, replace
broken balusters, and got my handrail system repaired and up to code. I
walked away feeling great about the work Distinctive Finishes provided,
their timely nature, professionalism, and the communication was top

The work was done professionally.  The deck had burn stains on it which I didn't think would get covered, I can't see them at all now.  Tony fixed some structural problems with the desk before doing the painting/staining.
I picked out a color that I thought would be good.  Tony painted a 8 foot board, let it dry over night, then pointed out why that color looked better on paper than wood.  He pointed me to a much better choice.

Great to work with.  Another company wouldn't come out to give a bid.  Terry came out and was clear and practical.  The job was done quickly and looked great.  He strengthened the staircase and had good recommendations.  I am planning on having him do additional work on the deck.

Tony was punctual and courteous and made recommendations on things to repair in addition to the items I knew needed to be done. He recommended an opaque stain to cover a poor staining job I had done two years prior and explained how he had researched the stain he was now recommending.
This was the second estimate I had received for the job. The estimate I received from another provider I have previously used was for the bolting, cleaning and staining only with none of the repair work.. The other provider was giving me a 10% discount and Tony's price was comparable without the discount and with an addition of replacement of some of the planks.
Tony had to delay the start of the project due to rain delaying other work he had done but he was courteous enough to call me and make sure that was acceptable first. Tony kept in touch by email and phone and responded quickly to calls. I was not present when the work was performed but he had moved bricks and a hose out from under the deck before he did the work to ensure they were not stained by drippings from above.
The work done to the fences was well done, boards look great and Tony not only stained the gate but a small fence under the deck and next to the gate to present a consistency in appearance.
I was very pleased with the final product and would gladly use Tony again.

They're fantastic.  They are clean and efficient.  They are well worth the money.

The project went smoothly.  There were some delays because of weather, but Tony was always good about keeping me informed.  There were a couple of issues not seen until he "dug" into it, but again, Tony was very communicative in giving me all my options, adding his own recommedations about ways to resolve the issue and the associated cost involved.

An old pocket door was broken. Tony examined it, did some work on it and very fairly explained that he would not have the (old model) parts to replace it.  He told us up front there could be a problem.  He suggested we call a door specialty service. He didn't charge us for a morning's work but hope that we would call him for other services (we will).
