"Thank you for the kind words. We enjoyed working with you."
Thanks guys. You did a great job!
They finished everything in a day..the installation team was nice and left everything spotless ! You can drive a forklift on this floor with no damage. It has made our garage look Beautiful. Everyone who sees it gushes about it!
Did I say I Love my new Garage Floor ! Thanks Lisa, Joan and the whole team for a Wonderful Experience.
THey had suggested we go to a location that they had done years ago with this same process to see how it looks and holds up--we were very impressed. Even though it didn't look like new or something that was presentable--the circumstances were that it was a horse barn and the usage was way more than any household would endure. We spoke to the owner there and she confirmed what we expected that this process was something we would like and it will hold up for many years.
They asked if I would like to enter a drawing because they would be giving away a "shower resurfacing" if you had a fiberglass shower, which I did. I wasn't going to sign up thinking they were just looking for my name to contact me in the future, but then decided why not. I came home and thought how I would love to do that to my old shower surround because it was a very outdated pinkish color but it wasn't on our "list of what to do" this spring so I didn't pursue it. Well a couple weeks later I got an e-mail saying I had WON the shower resurfacing at the Home Show. I at first thought - no way could this be for real. But it was - I had won.
Lisa O'Hern came out to my house on a Monday and brought samples of my choices. She did a short video of me saying that I was the person that had won at the Home Show. The next day the workers (2 gentlemen) came out and did the entire job. They made sure they covered any area that needed to be covered, they were very professional, they stayed and worked until the project was complete. It turned out fantastic! I couldn't be happier. I feel like I am in a hotel when I take my shower now. It just looks beautiful!!!
Lisa was a pleasure to meet and to talk to. I keep thinking they never would have had to have called to tell me I won. I had totally forgotten that I entered my name so I think it really says a lot about their company that they followed thru with something like this.
I will definately keep them in mind if we have any work that needs to be done and would for sure recommend them for the work that they did do in our shower!!!
"ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE ACCOUNT IS CORRECT I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU, AS PAUL HARVEY WOULD SAY..."THE REST OF THE STORY."... OUR COMPANY HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 25 YEARS, WE VALUE OUR CUSTOMERS AND STRIVE TO GIVE A SUPERIOR PRODUCT AND SERVICE. IN 25 YEARS, WE HAVE NEVER HAD AN INCIDENT OF THIS MAGNITUDE OCCUR AND HAVE OUR INSURANCE COMPANY PAYING FOR THE REPAIRS. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE REST OF OUR RATINGS BEFORE JUDGING US FROM THIS CUSTOMER'S EXPERIENCE. WE STARTED THE JOB WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF SIGNING THE CONTRACT. I DID MAKE A SCHEDULING ERROR BUT FOLLOWED UP WITH TELEPHONE CALLS TO KEEP THEM INFORMED. THEIR PROJECT WAS AN UNDERGROUND BASEMENT FLOOR WITH VERY POOR VENTILATION. WE OPENED THE SMALL WINDOWS, ADDED FANS AND LEFT THE KITCHEN DOOR OPEN TO DRAW IN FRESH AIR. WE HAD TO GRIND OFF PAINT FROM THE CONCRETE WHICH IS "CONSTRUCTION" AND PRODUCED SOME DUST. THIS WAS DISCUSSED WITH THE CUSTOMER PRIOR TO THE START OF THE JOB. WHEN THE GRINDING WAS COMPLETE, I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE CUSTOMER TO DISCUSS THE SURFACE IMPERFECTIONS IN THE CONCRETE (CRACKS AND HOLES) AND ADVISED THE CUSTOMER THAT ALL OF THESE IMPERFECTIONS WOULD SHOW THROUGH THE FINISHED JOB. AT THAT TIME, I OFFERED HER ANOTHER OPTION THAT WOULD HIDE ALL OF THE PROBLEMS, AS A FREE "UPGRADE". IT WAS MY ATTEMPT TO MAKE UP FOR THE SCHEDULING DELAY AND ALSO TO HAVE A BETTER LOOKING JOB. THE CUSTOMER DECLINED MY OFFER. SHE ASSURED ME THAT THEY WANTED THE "ACID STAINED LOOK" AND ALL THE PROBLEMS WOULD BE FINE SHOWING. AT THAT TIME SHE BROUGHT UP THE EXCESS DUST IN THE UPSTAIRS. I INVESTIGATED AND FOUND OUT FROM THE EMPLOYEES THAT THEY NEEDED THE VENTILATION TO THE LOWER LEVEL. ONE HOUR LATER I PROCEEDED TO HIRE AND SEND A CLEANING LADY OVER THE NEXT DAY TO CLEAN AND DUST FOR HER. ANOTHER GESTURE TO SHOW OUR DESIRE FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. WE PROCEEDED TO INSTALL THE ACID STAIN, CLEAN THE FLOOR AND INSTALL TWO COATS OF SEALER. WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND OUR CUSTOMERS LEAVE, DURING THE SEALER, DUE TO THE STRONG ODOR PRESENT. WE TURNED OFF THE PILOT LIGHT TO THE FURNACE BUT ASSUMED THE WATER HEATER WAS ELECTRIC, OUR MISTAKE. WHEN WE SHOWED UP TO INSTALL THE THIRD COAT, TURNED OFF THE FURNACE PILOT LIGHT BUT NOT THE PILOT LIGHT TO THE WATER SOFTENER AND THE FUMES OF THE SEALER CAUGHT ON FIRE. KEVIN, THE OWNER, SHOWED UP WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF IT HAPPENING. HE APOLOGIZED, PROCEEDED TO CALL OUR INSURANCE CO., A FIRE RESTORATION CONTRACTOR, AND GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO GET A BID STARTED FOR REPAIRS. WE ADVISED THE CUSTOMER OF ALL THIS AT THE TIME AND ASKED IF WE COULD HELP IN ANY OTHER WAY. THE CUSTOMER INFORMED US THAT THEIR INSURANCE CO. WAS HELPING THEM THROUGH THE PROCESS AND THEY DIDN'T NEED OUR HELP ANY FURTHER. WE INFORMED THEM THAT WHEN THE RESTORATION WORK WAS COMPLETE THAT WE WOULD GET IN TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE TO THE FLOOR AND FINISH THE JOB, IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. OUR INSURANCE COMPANY IS ACTIVELY WORKING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. IT WILL BE PAYING FOR ALL OF THE REPAIRS AND THEIR EXPENSES TO LIVE IN A RENTAL HOUSE, ETC. WE FEEL WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE SHOULD TO RECTIFY THE UNFORTUNATE SITUATION."
