On first contact by phone, Greg Dubois gave me an estimate based on the details I provided him. Two weeks later when I dropped off my shoes and boots, I was charged the estimated price. I guess I furnished really accurate specifics. :-) I had tips replaced on two pair of women's high heels. One pair was white and the leather was scraped from the heel but still attached. Greg was able to touch them up with glue and polish so I can continue to wear them without embarrassment.
He replaced the tips on my navy blue high heels and touched up the minor scrapes, so they continue to look new. The burgundy-colored lower, wider heels needed tip replacements. I didn't think these could be saved, but he rescued them. They look absolutely great! These are one of my absolute favorite pair of shoes, which I've had for years.
The shorter square-heeled black boots needed new heel tips, and my knee-high taupe pair needed heel caps, and scuff repair.
My descriptive terms may not be correct, but the point being, Greg did a great job. He got rid of scuffs and he shined the boots and shoes. I had an overall positive experience with the end results I wanted. He was amiable and professional. I highly recommend his services.

Any time I have a shoe/boot repair I go to Greg Dubois. He is an expert in shoes and boots and has done many repairs for me over the years. Repairs are done expertly and with high quality materials so the work lasts. He also sells all types of things related to shoes, such as boot trees, insoles, whatever you can imagine for maintaining your shoes and boots. He will repair purses also.

The shoes were finished a day early, and I received an email informing me I could pick them up. When I went in I thought he was giving me the wrong pair of shoes. They are smooth and shiny, and the patches on the toe don't even feel different. I can see them if I look closely, but the shoes will look totally professional again. The owner told me quite honestly that I would need to polish them more frequently and then told me how long I could expect the soles to last. I should get another 2-3 years out shoes I had almost pitched!

I took the boots into the store and was waited on promptly. He explained that the original heel taps were plastic and were held in by glue. He would rebuild the heels using better materials. I cannot tell you how pleased I am because they look like new. I highly recommend this place for shoe restoration.
