I had a hard time finding a company that was willing to come out for such a small job. Alliance was very nice and accommodating. They measured, did the template and installed the granite efficiently and pleasantly. They made sure everything matched up perfectly between the counter and the backsplash.

Went into showroom to look at samples and request estimate. One of the owners there seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us a written quote based on measurements we brought in from a different company. We were very excited about the pricing and asked they come out to the house to verify measurements. Sent a salesman out the next day. Not very informative or helpful. Measured the counter tops and told us he would e-mail the estimate the very next business day. After not hearing from anyone that Monday, we contacted the office. They told us the salesman was home with his sick 15 year old son and would get us the quote the following day. After not receiving anything, or hearing from anyone we called again. It seemed we were "'fighting" with them to get us the quote. When they finally faxed it, we were very disappointed. The salesman's price was over $10 Sq. Ft., more for the same product than what was quoted by the owner on the initial contact. Never heard from them again.
