I had originally purchased a Groupon for another company for duct cleaning, they came out and did their work, and that technician found some more issues with my furnace that needed some more expertise. He said he had a colleague who was just the guy to help us. That’s where Richard came in! He came to my house on a Sunday and spent almost the entire day fixing our problem from start to finish. He explained everything he was doing in great detail, and even gave my husband some really helpful tips on what to do to maintain the work that was done. He even went above and beyond and fixed our screen door (which hadn’t latched properly since we bought our house) and told us how to fix our kitchen faucet. I was so pleased with the amazing service and great value. Highly recommend!!

Our 100+ year-old house was upgraded sometime in the mid-eighties with central heat and air. We bought the house in 1989 and have done extensive remodeling, but no duct cleaning. Breathe-Rite cleaned all the ducts, both supply and return. In addition, they cleaned approximately 900 square feet of carpeting. Said carpeting was old and wrinkled. They stretched it and trimmed off the excess (for a fee, of course). My recliner was somewhat dirty and had cat hair on it. They cleaned that as well. The most impressive job was when they removed the furnace squirrel cage and took it to a car wash to clean it out. The furnace is about 13 years old and was never cleaned so well. It truly looked brand new when they brought it back.
One guy showed up about noon, but soon had three others on site due to the large volume of work. They finally finished about 10 pm. The 20 year-old carpet looks brand new. My chair is factory-clean. I can't attest to how clean the ductwork is, but I have faith in their work based on the results elsewhere. The entire crew worked tirelessly and without complaint until the whole job was complete.
We spent serious money, and I feel like we got our money's worth.

I purchased a groupon for breathe rite to clean a rental house I have. It was easy to get an appointment, the secretary that set it up was very nice and amicable. But then the problem came with the actual cleaners. They called and had gotten done with their previous job early, so my husband came home from work TWO hours early to accommodate them. They were jerks from the moment they came in, so much so that my nine year old daughter mentioned and quot;how rude those guys were.and quot; My husband left early, before the job was done. When I came back two days later, the carpet was still very dirty, and they had clearly poured the dirty water DOWN THE TUB! They couldn't walk ten more steps and dump it outside??? No, down the tub, which now drains slowly. They denied doing that when my husband called back to complain, but who else dumped dirty water with carpet remnants down the drain? And yes, the carpet was very dirty to begin with, but I came back and went over the stairs with a borrowed carpet cleaner, and got pure black water up, so how much did they really do? So we've asked them to go back over and clean again, and stand by their service. We played phone tag with them a couple times, but after that, my husband called multiple times and couldn't get anyone to call him back. So basically, they have extremely rude workers, who do a poor job cleaning. Why would anyone want that?

"Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As per our conversations on the phone, there was cat litter in the tub that you told your husband that you cleaned out of it. He stated so that you had told him so but he was not there to know. However if you had cleaned it out, my technician would not have known it was in there. With that being said the water that you are speaking of was poured in the toilet as you cannot dump that in the street. We have never poured dirty water in someone’s bath tub where they clean themselves. This technician has worked with us for over 10 years. We have spoken to your husband about this multiple times returning every call he made to us. In those conversations the dirt still being there was not brought up until the very last conversation several days later when someone had already moved in and your husband stated that the stairs were dirty so you rented something and used soap and you wanted us to come out and redo the stairs. He was not concerned at all about the tub that the cat litter clogged at this point. As far as the stairs your husband was told that we could not come back out to “redo” something you had claimed that we didn’t do correctly after someone moved in using those stairs and then you followed using soaps that we do not use. Had you contacted us immediately and said something about the stairs we would have been more than happy to re-clean them, however you didn’t call until someone used them as a main pathway to move in the house. Every call you have made to us was returned, your husband stopped calling after we explained both about the cat litter and the stairs that needed to be redone after someone moved in. They were excellent! I had a groupin that had actually expired a few days before but they honored it. Cleaned a larger area than I expected. At my request he have me an inspection of air ducts and furnace. Took the time to do a thorough job. I will definitely use their company again.

We found this provider via one of those deal of the day recommendation services prior to joining Angie's List. In other words we had no basis for choosing A BreatheRite other than an advertised price discount. We couldn't have been more surprised and pleased. The technician arrived on time, was courteous and went straight to work. We were astonished that unlike other providers we had used in the past, the A BreatheRite technician took the necessary time to eradicate stains and other signs of wear and tear on the carpets rather than giving the carpets a and quot;once overand quot; treatment. Stains that had been there for years which had been previously and quot;treatedand quot; disappeared. All of the tougher stains in the basement are gone. The stains in the basement that the technician warned might reappear somewhat due to their location have not returned. When he left, we hardly knew he had been there, except fore the clean, but not overpowering scent throughout the house and the remarkable change in the overall appearance of the carpeted floors. The deep red fabric of our Lazy Boy recliner has been brought back to life.
Our house looks almost as if we had it re-carpeted. We are very pleased and will definitely talk positively about this company to our friends and family.

I had a good experience. They did a fine job. He was just trying to sell me on all the other things he did. He was going to look at the vents and the furnace; he was going to do, supposedly, a inspection, but he had a bad leg, so I ended up pulling the dryer out, disconnecting it and then cleaning it out. But I got them for the carpet cleaning. And then there was all these other little costs, like, the stairs - these are stairs - they were saying, that's not the stairs, that's not considered the hallway and the bedroom, so these are going to be so much price from each one of these stairs and the landing is different, so that's going to be added on. I mean I got it done; I mean, they did a good job, but. They knew what they were doing. They were, supposedly, familiar with the chemicals they're putting on to get down stains - so that was a good thing - putting down what chemicals to get out what stains that was on the carpet. The carpets were clean and then some of them had to be treated, you know, some had coffee stains or whatever. When you add in everything into that, their price was comparable to everyone else. The quality was good. We had an appointment and they were there.

Excellent job! BreatheRite Carpet was responsive, informative and thorough. Owner Tracy Barhorst bent over backwards to meet my timeline and Kris Laurence was prompt, thorough and took great care to remove stains from my carpet. In terms of getting our carpets clean at a fair price and punctuality, I would definitely use them again.
The only reason I marked and quot;Band quot; for professionalism, is I don't think they get under the edges of furniture/don't put furniture up on foam blocks as have some previous companies I've used and they left a puddle of dirty water in the hallway when they left.
Still, no biggie. Carpet was cleaned well at a good price.

I had purchased a Groupon which was to cover three rooms of carpet cleaning. However, after the guys arrived, they informed me that my carpets would require a deep cleaning which would cost additional money. I agreed to the up charge and they performed the work. I was happy with the job they did, although I couldn't help but feel that I had been overcharged after it was all said and done.

I purchased a voucher through Google Offers for a discounted rate of $39 to clean three rooms. Their team was about an hour late for our appointment but they did call about 30-60 minutes prior to our appointment to let me know they were running late. Two employees came in to provide the service. They moved around small furniture to do the cleaning. I wish they had also moved the couches, however. They did try to offer an upgrade clean with teflon which I declined. They were not pushy, however. They also inspected my vents (on their own, I didn't ask for it) and stated that my vents looked clean and didn't need to be cleaned. I appreciate their honesty... many others may suggest needless cleaning. I would use their service again, as I felt their cleaning was good and they were honest.

The carpets were really dirty with pet urine stains as well as day to day stains. He explained the process and the fact because of the bad conditions it needed a more deep cleaning. After he got done the carpet looked like new! Very professional, and excellent service. You must try them!

However, when I called to schedule the appointment for a specific time and date, it was put on their schedule for the day afterwards, despite the fact that I emailed a confirmation of the time and date I had requested. When they did not come or call, I called them and they did work it out to still come that date, but later.

All was done very well and professionally. The people were curteous and professional. Concerning my carpets, I don't think there was a square foot my dogs had not christened at one time or another. My son had lived in the lower level for a year with his two cats, and the male had done extensive marking. The lower level smelled strongly. When Breathe Rite got done, the smell was gone, the stains were gone and my carpets looked great! I was especially pleased with this carpet cleaning.
My only complaint is with punctuality. They seem to have trouble making and keeping a schedule, but once they arrive it went very well. However, my vent is still nailed shut, they did not return to place the chicken wire they had promised. Still, when the carpets need cleaning again, I will call this company to do the work.
