the shower was installed good the surround needed some fixing. We had bought plywood that was sanded on one side and they laid it with the wrong side up.  When installing the light switches they disconnected another wire and therefore the plugins on one side of the living room and the kitchen light switches no longer worked.  When installing the exhaust fan they didn't install the piping to the roof, the ceiling in the house has lines running north to south so we asked them to run the ones in the bathroom the same direction, they didn't they go east to west.  The ceiling has all these staples in our new panels.  They glued it up but then put lots of staples in it.  Looks terrible!  The plywood flooring was measured wrong leaving gaps in the flooring.  The drywalling was taped and bedded wrong and the taping had to be torn out and redone.  We had drilled holes on the beams under the floor to put the water lines going to kitchen through to keep them off the ground but they just laid them on the ground.  Not good work at all.
Now as for the bid, we were given a price for the whole remodel which was twice what we could afford, we told him so on the phone.  He asked what we could afford and we told him, he said let me refigure and I'll call you back. Five minutes later he called back and said we'll take the job, at which my husband said for $900.00 and he said yes.  He never said we'll only do part of the job or we'll work for an hourly rate, but after working two days of 5.5 hours each he told us he could only work four days for us.  So he only do 1/4 of the original job he bid on and then tried to charge us the full $900.  I'm sorry to say he actually got me to pay $820.  I would have never hired them if I had known they weren't going to do the whole job.  
Very upset about the whole job they did.
