T & J Construction - Jay Leffert

The construction went very well. All the men Jay had on the project were professional, hard working, and kept the work site picked up and orderly. They were also friendly with pets. The total project took about four weeks. Some of that time we were on vacation, but I never had a minutes worry about Jay and his crew being in the house while we were away. If a question came up, he was quick to get in touch with us. Communication was never a problem. Jay will make suggestions but he wants you to get the remodel you want. He is very good at estimating the job, and gives you a good idea of the what the project will cost. One of the reasons we chose Jay was that he was able to give us an estimate for redoing the porch. Other contractors we spoke to did not want to take on the job or could not give us an idea of what it would cost.  The final cost for the whole project was slightly less than his estimate. I think he charges a fair price for the quality of his work, and I think the quality of the work is excellent. Everyone who as seen the redo has been impressed. The porch looks like is has always been part of the house. The kitchen and dining room look fantastic.  I would not hesitate to use him again and will recommend him to anyone I know who needs a house remodeled. He tells me that he also build houses.
