MERAMEC HEIGHTS COLLISION CTR

Due to hail damage in early July 2014 I had an estimate for repair work done by my insurance company, State Farm. Their website provided a list of repair facilities which I researched on the BBB, Angie's List and on a general search on internet. The results indicated that Meramec Heights Collision Center had numerous A+ ratings and comments. Because of these results I went to Meramec Heights Collision Center for an estimate of the work and spoke with Ron Usselmann.
The receptionist asked if I would like any coffee or water during the less than five minute wait for Ron. Ron introduced himself and explained what his shop does and then we walked around the vehicle and reviewed the State Farm provided estimate. He provided me a comprehensive version of what his company would do and that the work could start on August 25th. I brought the car to his facility on 25 August and Ron stated working should be completed by 29th. Ron called me with updates throughout the week and by the 29th he stated it would take an additional couple of days due to some smaller damaged trim pieces that both State Farm and he had missed. I received my vehicle back on 3 September.
When I picked up my vehicle Ron was not ready to review my vehicle with me because he was in the shop. During the five minute wait Ron's staff asked if I would like any coffee or water. Ron walked me around the vehicle and explained all the work that was performed and then he stated that it had be detailed (cleaned, waxed (with a good coat of wax that should last 6 months), and vacuumed). The car was immaculate.
Both Ron and his staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company for any repair work needed.

All of the staff was very professional and easy to work with. They explained repair process and provided accurate cost and time estimates. Rental car was ready and waiting when I dropped off car. Work was performed in timely manner and finished product looked great! No complaints.

This is diffinetly a 5 star business, could not be better as far as our experience was. We had a crumpled left finder,
damage to the left side of the bumper assembly and scuffing across the front. It was drivable but the drivers door would
not open very far due to the crumpled finder. The insurance company, American Family, said we did not need 3 estimates but could take it to a body shop of our choosing. They gave us names of 3 in our area that were on their approved list, and we selected
Meramec Heights Collision Center just 2 miles from our home. They also received a good reference from our local
American Family agent.
We visited them and they worked up an estimate of the repairs needed while we were there which appeared to be reasonable and would be approved by the insurance company. We made an appointment to leave the vehicle 2 days later on Thursday so they could tear it down and see if there was any hidden damage. They called us on Friday to tell us the parts were ordered and they would start work on Monday. We asked that they try to have it ready by Thursday latest as we were to leave on vacation of Sat. We were called on Wednesday that it was ready and we arranged to pick it up the next morning. We did and everything was perfect. It looked like new, like it had never been damaged. And to top that off, they clean it inside and out. Looked likeit just came out of the showroom. Meramec Heights Collision also includes a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the work they did, good as long we we own the car, however long that is.
Meramec Heights Collision Center is my go-to auto body repair place in the future and I would heartily recommend it to anyone.

I dropped off my car on 8/6/12 and Meramec Heights had already arranged for me to be in a rental vehicle, by having called Enterprise and having the agent meet me onsite and get me on my way. I was told this would be a about 4 day repair job. Meramec Heights was so professional and curtious, they went above and beyond seeing that I was contacted freakly (almost daily) just to keep me in the loop. This was such a nice service because they ended up having my car until 8/16/12. Several problems arose during this time, but nothing due to their services or within their control. But rather, being challenged in getting the parts from dealer or other retailers that had to be shipped from out of state. There was also delays in shipments and lost packages that added to the delay. Again, out of the control of Meramec Heights. Anyhow, when it was time to pick up my car on the afternoon of 8/16/12, Meramec Heights had done something else I was not expecting, they cleaned the interior, vacuum, and washed and waxed the outside of car. It looked better than when I purchased it off the dealer lot. They also kept the car in one of their bay areas (to keep dry from rain) so that I could inspect the vehicle before leaving their facility. I took notice that the lighting was very poor and that it appeared to look good and went on my way. When I arrived home to have my husband look the car over, we then noticed an area on the passenger door that was not done properly. It appeared to us (untrained eye) that the paint was cloudy/white in some areas and we could see what appeared to us as, sanding or buffing scratches underneight the paint. I tried contacting Meramec Heights this same evening (after hours) to advise that I would be returning the next morning, but they do not have an answering machine or voicemails to do so. I returned the next morning before work on 8/17/12 and waited for someones arrive. I spoke with owner John and he confirmed that they needed to make the corrections and apologized for the error. My rental was still on his lot for me to jump into and head to work. After work, I met with Meramec Heights to reinspect my vehicle (in sunlight) and they made necessary corrections. It was not a paint problem, but rather the buffing process and rewaxed the area. It was nice to finally be on my way and put this experience behind me. It was very dissappointing to have gone those two weeks with MFG and dealer problems and then to have the mishap with buffing afterwards, but I felt they were all genuine when they said they were sorry. We all make mistakes. They included a free wax for next January. My overall experience was good and I would use them again.

Great experience - ontime and very detailed! I've used this company for years and have referred many family and friends. You know that its done right the first time. Very helpful if you just have questions.

They spent over two hours, some of it in the trunk with a flashlight while water poured over it, but never found a leak. The leak only occured after a 2+ inch torrential rain.

They declined to charge for the time spent looking, because they did not find it.

I hope we never need body work, but if we do, we will definitely take it there, and recommend them very highly for professionalism and integrity.

Everything has been excellent. I have used them several times.
