They did it a great job. We add none of the issues that make you not want to do a remodel. Everything was done timely, started when they said they would and finished when told they would. We are very happy. They did cabinet and appliance install and managed the electrical and plumbing process. We have already hired them to do some additional work.

.Everything went according to plan, albeit slightly longer than i would have imagined. But then again, what do I really know about gutting a bathroom? I was also fortunate to have family living nearby, so crashing with them for a week or so was no problem. Dave and his crew are an extremely professional and conscientious. dave checked in several times throughout the process and made great suggestions for suppliers, as well as design-related tips. When finished, the crew did a fantastic job getting everything in the house back in order.
I would HIGHLY recommend DS Construction to anyone looking to get significant work done around the house. They are good, honest people with great talent and professionalism. I will definitely be using DS Construction again for my next project

I am very happy with the results and think these guys are GREAT at what they do!! David thought out every little detail and followed through with everything that was discussed and promised!! He talked with me to find out what I wanted, prompted me when it was time to get materials picked out and ordered and thought through what we needed in the final product, making suggestions along the way. It was 2 months of construction in the house and they showed up every morning on time, were organized, thorough and predictable. The craftsmanship is phenomenal and ranges from solid construction and carpentry to beautiful tile work and aesthetics. The bid was also very close to the what the final cost. They tried to do what they could to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum and were very respectful that their work site was actually our home. You might find someone as good but you won't find anyone any better!!

Before starting our project, we interviewed 3 different contractors. We found DS Construction from a random internet search and knew from their website that they were not intimidated by large jobs. After talking with David and Mike and getting an estimate, we trusted them and decided to go with them. David obtained the necessary permits as well as an engineering study to verify that the walls could in fact come down. He sent us to excellent sources for cabinetry, countertops, backsplash and foyer tile and wood flooring. After a short delay waiting for the county to issue a permit, the work began. David and Mike worked seamlessly together tearing the walls down, installing sheetrock and finishing walls, lining up excellent contractors who were on time and worked quickly. They installed ceramic tile, cabinets including an island to somewhat separate the kitchen area, backsplach tile, and all appliances. They brought in subcontractors for electrical work, plumbing, ceiling finishing and painting and return air duct rerouting. All subs showed up when needed and did excellent work. The care and excellence of work that David and Mike showed was obvious during each step of the project. And they were open to changes and extras that we asked of them. Installing ceramic tile and building new fireplace molding was not in our original estimate, but they were flexible and never hesitated to do the extras. We are extremely pleased with the final result and would recommend DS Construction to anyone wanting excellent results.

Mike and his coworker were super nice. The did the work efficiently and neatly. I was very happy with the end result. As an extra bonus, they were able to take the scrap cedar leftover from the trim work and make a small fence to conceal my heat pump. Their workmanship was high quality and you could tell they worked as a team for many years, often just communicating with a sigle work to get things perfect. I hope they have time in the future to help me with additional project I can't handle on my own.
