Construction 4 U

Roof. All work done to satisfaction. Shed walls. Relaced with agreed upon material. Did not use primer on exterior, bare wood walls, despite customer repeatedly requesting such and contract required. Powerwash. Substandard workmanship, customer did work to prepare the house for new paint. Paint north side of house and carport. Mediocre workmanship, customer had to aid contractor and watch diligently for work to be properly done. First paint purchased was substandard to agreed upon material. Customer had to procure proper paint for job. Shed door. Removed door, supposed to rehang so it would latch properly. Contractor worked on job twice, issue still unresolved.

I wrote a check at the beginning, for $500. At the end he told me I didn't give it to him. Later I found my check stub and he only gave me back $240, and said the remaining amount was a bonus for him. The work was done all wrong, and I have to find someone else to do the work correctly now.

We tried to get a written bit, but he never did give us a written bid. Every time he would say that he would get it the next time. He never followed through and suddenly he started making up his own prices. They got furious when we called them back to fix some issue. They argued for 2 hours and finally fixed it.
