I love this place and come at least once a month! The space is gorgeous and very welcoming, the staff is friendly and well trained, and the services are top notch. I really love the complementary wine, the heated massage/facial tables, and the soft spa robes, as well as the sauna before my massage and the rain shower after. I could spend all day at Celeslie's! I highly recommend them for both salon and spa services.

Snooty. Overpriced. All style and little substance. Girl used foil on short hair and should have used a cap. I looked ok for two weeks and color washed out/cooked my hair. I used premium Aveda color safe products too. Nobody called to remind me of follow up appt either. They think it's West County and it's Arnold.

I walked in one evening and asked for a pedicure. They were very polite and professional. I waited only about 10 minutes until she finished with her previous client. I particularly like that they offered a different price for a pedicure without the nail polish. Since I'd just had hip replacement surgery, I couldn't bend far enough to perform the work myself, but I also didn't want to pay for the polish since I don't wear sandals.

My favorite thing about Celeslies is the atmosphere. It smells like most Aveda salons, it looks nice, and I love the music they play.

It was truly a wonderful experience! We got there about 15 minutes before our appointment time and everyone was very nice. They showed us to the changing room where we put on these super soft robes. I liked that they had lockers for guests to store our belongings. Then we sat in the spa lounge, drank some water, and moved to the sauna. The massage therapist came to get my sister and Jenifer came to get me for my peel / facial. I'd never had one before, but it was very relaxing. The room was softly lit, music was playing gently over the sound system, and the table was heated. My skin looked and felt much better afterwards and I would do it again.
Then I was asked if I wanted any wine or anything else to drink. I declined and Heather took me to the massage room. The table was again heated, the ambiance was perfect, and the massage was AMAZING! She had great technique and strength and it was very fluid. Not a lot of starting and stopping, which I hate. I actually dozed off a couple of times and I never do that! Afterwards I used the aromatic rain shower and it was wonderful as well.
Such a lovely spa with lots of free extras and quality service providers. Will definitely be back soon!

Overall the experience was excellent as always. I was greeted by the receptionist and asked if I wanted anything to drink. Then I was taken back into the spa area to change into a robe. I sat in the sauna while drinking their fruit-infused water and reading a magazine until it was time for my massage. (Apparently this step warms your muscles, which allows the massage to penetrate better in the beginning and relax you faster.) Then I was shown to my massage table, which was heated and covered in super soft sheet and blankets. Soft music played in the low-lit room. My massage lasted for 60 minutes (Celeslie's also offers a 50 min, 75 min and 90 min massage), and it was wonderful. I like that my massage therapist there really listens to me, instead of doing the same set of strokes for every client. After the massage I stood in the steam shower with some aromatherpy oils and came out refreshed and relaxed.
Then I changed back into my clothes and went back out into the salon for my hair cut and eyebrow wax. When I was finished I made an appointment for my 3 year old son's haircut, asked about having a birthday spa party for my niece (which they do!), and talked to the owner (Susan Celeslie) about her ideas for improving the salon even more. It's a very welcoming place and I don't understand why some women (even my friends) insist on paying more for a lower quality service!
