CASTELLO PAINTING AND REMODELING

 Juan and his sons have worked in my home twice.  Both times their work product, integrity, and professionalism exceeded my expectation. 

Juan understands how to approach a job.  He communicates effectively, knowing exactly what information he needs from you in order to proceed in a manner that matches your preference.  He never tries to overcomplicate issues to make the project seem more complex.  He also does not take a lot of your time rehashing the work to be done.   

While listed as a painter, he and his sons do a lot more than paint. My first project with them included drywall and other carpentry projects.  I forgot this and did not call them first for my most recent project - which I later regretted.

I called them to paint and  as it turned out to fix the work done by the other contractor. Juan was were very polite even though he saw immediately what needed to be done from a functional and esthetics perspective. He didn't criticize the other person's work.  He just told me what he would like to do to make it work and look better. 

It took a few days for him to come and assess the project. Two days is get his bid. His sons started the following day and had the work completed in another  2 days. From first call to project completion was about a week.

I my prior experience with his company, I had experienced damage due to a water leak. He told me in his opinion, I did not need to do the more extensive work (removing all the dry wall and baseboards) suggested by the person who recommended him  to me, even  though I was prepared to pay him do it. I agreed to follow his remedy and have had no problems and I remain very happy with his repairs and the esthetics of his craftsmanship.

Juan and his sons JJ and Willie, came and painted, they were prompt, took care to cover everything, removed the light covers so they could paint everything. The ceiling ( a job I hate) was perfect, there was no white on my walls, and it was a nice even coat. Juan even fixed a plaster area that had a small crack, and you cannot see it. The were nice, easy to talk to and even let the dog out. I have recommended them to several friends and everyone is impressed by their work and fair prices. I will hire them again!

Juan and his crew (his sons) were very careful, professional and pleasant to have in my house for a week.
The finished product is beautiful. The molded crown (about which I had doubts) looks like new.
I would certainly have them work for me again and have already recommended them to my sister.

Castello Painting and Remodeling did a great job replacing a bathroom shower that was constructed incorrectly the first time. Not only does it look better than the original but I have no doubt this one will last. Juan and his sons were quick, responsive and very professional.

When Juan was approached about painting for this new shelter sponsored by International Crisis Aid he insisted on volunteering his painting expertise for the shelter. Not only was the job done perfectly but he didn't charge a cent!

We had a mold problem in our basement and had to remove the drywall from several walls. Once the mold treatment was completed, Juan and his team put it all back together again and it looks much better than it did to begin with! They did an excellent job putting up the drywall and the baseboards and blending all the seams. You cannot tell what is old and what is new. Their painting looks wonderful as well.

Juan's prices are very reasonable and his work is very good. He and his team painted the exterior of our large two-story home. It took them about a week, including all the trim. They cleaned up each day and made sure they were not in the way of anything else going on. Juan pays attention to detail and has the experience to know what works and what doesn't work. He doesn't take shortcuts to make a larger profit and he will be honest with you about how the project can be done cheaper, but warns you about problems you might have down the road.

Juan and his team were excellent. Removing wallpaper can be tricky as you never know how hard it will be until you start pulling it off. Juan gave me an estimate for both easy and difficult removal. When the job was complete, Juan told me it had come off relatively easily and charged me the lower bid. I appreciated his honesty as I would never had known otherwise if he had said it was very hard to remove it. They patched and smoothed the walls where needed before painting. I chose a color I ended up hating once it was on the walls and the team didn't give any indication of frustration when I asked to choose a new color (of course, I did have to pay extra because of this, as would be expected). Juan also gave helpful suggestions about what colors might look good with the woodwork in the room. I decided on a new color and I love it. They did an excellent job.

Wonderful !! The final result is perfect. They work with you to achieve the result you want. They do exactly as they say they will. Easy, reasonable, and competent.

They do an excellent job. They are friendly and hard workers. Price was excellent. Excellent prep work. Highly recommend.
