I would recommend these guys to anybody. It was a pretty decent price with rebates. They are competitive as far as price. It took a half a day for the installation. They were nice and left the area very clean.

We had made some phone calls, and they were reasonable. They came right away. There were two workers. It took the workers a couple of hours to work. Very professional. Told me exactly what they were going to do. They cleaned everything up. I don't think they can improve on anything. They can come right away if you have an problem. Punctuality.

I wanted to replace my air conditioning system before it conked out in the heat of summer, and my furnace was on it's last leg as well.  I called 3 HVAC contractors listed on Angie's list. I chose Arnold Air to do the work.  The main reason I chose this company is the professional way the contractor presented his bid, including putting on booties before entering my house, how the information on the bid was presented, and the bid itself.  Since I last had an HVAC system installed, there have been many changes to HVAC systems, and Mike from Arnold Air explained the "stage" systems so that I understood what that meant, how they could meet my needs (more efficiency from units, and qualify for Ameren rebates), and what was available. The bid that Arnold Air provided included 2-stage (more efficient) units for both air and heat, met my price range, and qualified for the Ameren rebates-perfect!

Arnold Air was not cheapest, but also not the most expensive. plus both units were 2-stage. One of the other contractor's bid was only a couple hundred less but did not include 2-stage units for air or heat. The third contractor beat all prices, but the heat unit was a different brand than the air, and also not a 2-stage unit.

After selecting Arnold Air and before the install date, my current air conditioning went out on one of the hottest days of the summer. I called Arnold Air, and they sent a repairman out. The circuit for air on my electrical panel was tripped, so I also called Reinhold Electric; they thought the circuit was ok, that it was probably the unit, but said Arnold Air would have to determine that. The Arnold Air repairman determined it was the air unit condenser and installed something on the condenser to keep it running until they replaced it the next week. He also worked patiently with the Reinhold Electric guy to ensure it was the unit and not the circuit, since I was concerned about a bad circuit impacting the new unit.  Arnold Air did not charge for this excellent service!!

The install went smoothly, and all the workers were very professional and completed the work as scheduled and on time.

I signed up for Arnold Air's bi-annual inspection contract as well, and was pleasantly surprised that is was less than I had been paying another contractor.

I could not ask for anything more from an HVAC contractor and highly recommend Arnold Air.

They were real profession, did an excellent job, done real well, pointed out some things that needs to be corrected, price seems to be pretty competitive. All in all, I'm quite pleased.

We have been very impressed with them. The guy’s name is Mike. I would definitely recommend them. We had a rental unit that we owned. The AC in the unit went out, and we had to get it fixed pretty immediately because it was a hundred degrees. We have called a couple companies to say that we needed a new unit and to ask how quickly they could get out. Everyone told us that it would take a couple of days and that it would cost about $1,500 for the unit. They tired to kind of diagnose it over the phone for us. The guy told us that he can come out there that same day and told us that we may not need a new unit. He further told us to let him take a look at it and if we do, we can replace it. It ended up costing $30 because he pointed out to us that there was a missing part. He replaced the part for $15 and $15 for the labor. It was a super insignificant cost. He went to Home Depot, came back, and tried it. It fixed the problem. Since then we have used him. We have referred him to my mom. My husband’s parents have used them. It is just a really reputable company. He is a very nice young guy and also very professional. Their prices are reasonable. He obviously knows what he is doing, and he is not going to take advantage of you.

They are wonderful people and they do a great job. My original air conditioner was fastened to the wall outside on the wall against my headboard. It was so loud! I had them replace the air conditioner and made sure they put this one on the ground, so it wouldn't be as loud.

They service my heating and air each year. If I need them to come out, they come right out, I don't have to wait. I'm glad I called them. They do a great job of cleaning and the tech that came out to clean was a wonderful person to talk to. He took parts out and sanded them down with steel wool, he was so detailed in his cleaning.

Mike (one of the owners) and Matt arrived early the first day of the install as promised. They reviewed the entire installation with me then went to work. Drop cloths were laid in all areas they were working or walking through. It's was a big job that took two days to complete. Since it was somewhat cool they made sure both new furnaces were fully operational before they left the first day. Even though they were coming back the next day to continue and complete the installation they cleaned up - it was like they were never there. The second day they laid all new drop cloths to again prevent damage or dirt. When the installation was complete they went through all the maintenance requirements and how to do them. They went through the various operating methods and discussed the comfort levels we prefer. From there they configured the units to provide the best comfort and performance. They also explained how the programmable thermostats worked and how I could make changes if desired. We did have a problem with one of the units recently. It was a very hot day and as expected they had a very busy day. Since we have 2 AC units it wasn't critical that they come that day but they did and made sure it was fixed that day. The failure was actually inside the AC unit due to how it was built at the factory. You can tell they take personal pride in their work. With the initial install and the follow-up they made sure to explain what they were doing and before leaving wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. I have recommended them to friends.

Service and installation was excellent.  Our AC went out during a heat wave and they stopped by the next day and completed the install of both the AC and coil in a matter of hours.  The installers were polite and professional and I would definitely do business with them again.

After getting numerous widely varying estimates, we chose Arnold Air because their estimate was much lower than just about everyone else's. That and the fact they were rated so highly by the BBB and Angie's List. They also were the only ones who said they could do it in one day. They arrived on time and completed the job as promised. When getting an estimate, I found that if you got one (an estimate) from the actual person who was going to do the work, they tended to be much less expensive. All in all very satisfied with Arnold Air.

Things went well. Mike arrived right on time. We talked for a few minutes and he told me what he would do. Then we went to the basement and he checked everything down there and also explained to me about humidifiers and which one I should get. Then he went outside and checked everything and cleaned my A/C. Then we talked about the benefits of a Maintenance Agreement ($99 includes 2 pre-season clean & checks each year, priority service, no trip charges M-F 8-4, 10% off parts, labor & equipment)
