hardwood floor
 + -1 moreHis wife told me he had allergies to cats, so I vacuumed very well two days before and the day of his arrival. He showed up on time, but only carried in a binder. I asked him where the samples were and he didn't know what I was talking about. He told me he came out to measure and doesn't bring anything until he has done that. I asked him why he would even come out without the samples and he said he didn't know about any of that and told me he thought I should find someone else, turned around and walked out. Now, when I was in the store, they were so grateful that I had stopped in. They were only about 3 miles away. I don't know why he didn't simply apologize and ask if he could go get them. I never did get an estimate and had to start over.
Description of Work: They attempted to give me an estimate on installing a wood floor for me. I went to Absolute Flooring and had great help from the owner s wife and other employees. She helped me pick out some possible choices but to make a final decision, I needed to bring some samples home. Since the samples are too heavy for me to carry, I made arrangements for the owner to come out.
