FASHION FLOORS BY BOB INC

Bob put down a brand new wood floor and base boards in the upstairs of our house. He used this awesome oak with a lot of beautiful color variation. I was pregnant at the time so he advised us to use a water based finish and worked quickly so I could get back home soon. The shining star of his work was our staircase which he did in two colors so that the risers are a dark walnut and the steps a golden oak – it looks awesome. I would highly recommend his work!

I first had them refinish all my hardwood floors. Later I had him pull out a floor (linoleum) and put in hardwood. Both jobs were completed and were perfect. He worked closely with me and listened to my concerns. I couldn't have asked for a better job, and I am a fussy customer.

Be warned - this provider follows no quality standards and exhibits no interest in satisfying the customer. His first attempt created numerous highly visible large swirls in the floor which were stained and sealed despite obvious problem. To address it, I had to fight through a process of changing stories, from "I'll fix it that section" to "no I won't fix it it's not that bad" to "actually it's the homeowner's fault not mine" to finally "OK I'll fix it but I want to get paid first". Pass #2 was horrible too - brush bristles (I hope it's not hair!) and bubbles in the sealer. He also splashed stain all over trim, which I'll have to fix myself. I didn't even ask for a third pass, for fear things would get even worse. I selected this vendor due to excellent reviews, but couldn't have been more disappointed.

Great. Easy to schedule. Came on time. Was proactive on re-setting loose/squeeky boards. Was able to remove significant staining of 50+ years and restoring the floor to look like new.

Bob agreed to work with his proposal, so that we could afford his work.  He had come highly recommended by a trusted source, so we really wanted him to do our floors - and he came through!   His wood provider was very easy to work with, and Bob's careful work meant a beautiful new floor.  We are delighted!

Bob is very knowledgeable about flooring.  He takes pride in his work, keeps a clean work area, very accommodating and very punctual. The job started and finished on time and it was a pretty big project.  He is also entertaining and a very good singer :)

They laid a brand new floor in the kitchen. It is absolutely gorgeous. They realized the floor going down the basement stairs was douglas fir wood and they resanded it and it looks absoulutely beautiful. It was just like a brand new house when they were finished.

He's been very good! He has been very helpful, hardworking, and pleasant to work with. I like everything so far.

He was dependable, cleaned up completely each day, and was very easy to work with. The extra things we asked about were no inconvenience to them and his workmanship was excellent. The floors are beautiful and we will definitely use them again.

Bob is a quiet guy whose work speaks for itself. The floors look BEAUTIFUL!

He did a great job. He also rebuilt our stairs to match it. He was just amazing. He moved all the furniture from one side of the house to other and covered everything with plastic. He cleaned up after himself. We had so little dust that we had to clean because he did such a good job.

Excellent job. We expected a full week of work but Bob finished well ahead of schedule. Dust was kept to a minimum. We have another area needing repair and refinishing on the 1st floor and will not hesitate to call him again. He was accommodating and professional and aside from one missed call he communicated very well during the project.

I used Bob (for a second time) to repair and refinish the birch hardwood floors in the kitchen of my 100 yr. old home in St. Paul. Since I've used Bob before, I expected a great job, but Bob again exceeded expectations. The repairs to the various holes and bad boards in the kitchen were laced in and matched with the old flooring perfectly. His finishing is impeccable. He comes in, knows what to do, gets it done, and then moves on to the next job. I can not recommend Bob enough. This is one craftsman who really knows what to do and at the right price. As soon as I can upload photos, I will. Thanks again Bob!

I called Bob to schedule an estimate appointment and he came that same day. His estimate was less than I thought it would be. We scheduled a long week end out of town sort of last minute and I called Bob hoping but not expecting he could work us in but he was able to work to our schedule. He came when he said he would. There was no dust left over on anything in the house. He did a great job on the floor. He even took off a couple floor level cabinet doors that I forgot about. The floor looks absolutely great. I highly recommend Bob.

Overall they were great... quick, cheap and the work turned out great. No complaints at all, these guys did a great job.

Called Bob made app. I wanted Large LR area approx. 900 SF to be in wood, and the mud room entrance and bedroom in either slate or cork, Bob, turned me on to another installer (Scott Walsh)for the non wood areas. Scott was also excellent! Job was done without a problem. Bob returned after I noticed a couple of defects in 3 boards, to replace them. The floor looks great. He even gave me a Bona wood floor mop kit to keep it looking fresh. Could not be happier!

Bob came in and did an excellent job. Everyone, and I mean everyone, who sees my floors remarks about how great they look. He put the darker mahogany/red stain that I wanted. He's really a craftsman.

Bob did a fantastic job. I have a 100 yr. old house in St. Paul and usually do most of my own work. I had to rip up the old floor, install and level a new subfloor, and then I hired Bob to install the hickory wood floor that I had purchased. For anyone that does much of their own work, it is difficult to let someone else work in your space. With Bob I couldn't have been more pleased. Bob works completely independently and you can feel confident that he doesn't cut any corners. He is extremely efficient, but doesn't sacrifice quality for speed. I would definitely use Bob for any other flooring work that I need. I've had hardwood floors worked on in other houses and Bob's price is right in line with the costs that I've incurred on other projects.

Bob did an excellent job. He matched my floors and did it exactly how I imagined it. His quality of work is amazing. I can't say enough about him. I am very satisfied with his work.
