Everything went wonderful and the workers did such a great job. We would definitely hire the company again.

We hired the Construction Group this summer to reside our house, fix any underlying siding issues, re-cover the house, install new facia, sofits, and leafless gutters. They also did the outside electrical - seven exterior lights and several new outlets. While the Construction Group wasn't the most inexpensive bid we received, they also weren't the most expensive. And we were incredibly happy with their work. Scott calls on quite a crew and they were awesome. Steady workers, extremely careful with the details. There was one small electrical snafu involving a particularly picky city inspector, but it was finally addressed to everyone's satisfaction. We have had lots and lots of compliments on how our house now looks. Thank you Construction Group.

Scott worked hard with the insurance company to make sure all damage was covered. He and his team showed up on time every time and the work was done professionally and on a timely basis.

Scott Campbell from The Construction Group was open, honest and a joy to work with. He listened to my input and concerns about special requirement and was responsive to requests for changes and additional information. He always kept me appraised of schedules changes and unexpected delays. Pricing was upfront and transparent, with no hidden charges or surprises, and yet his bid was the lowest. He handled all the permits and required inspections without any effort on my part. And he was onsite at critical times to make sure the work was progressing as planned. The roof was beautifully done in 1 day. The LP siding took longer--7 days--but was also done well. And the final piece, window replacements in the garage, which had to be custom-made due to the age of the house, were completed in just a couple of hours. Finally, his crews--roofers, siders, electrical and window installers--were all competent, courteous and accommodating. I would highly recommend him and would use him again, if the need arose.

TCG was great with helping coordinate with insurance (roof and gutters were insurance replacement). The roof and gutters look great. It was done in a timely manner without any damage to the yard. And when I had some issues with my insurance company (covering overall material price increases from the initial estimate to actual work), TCG stepped in and helped get everything covered.

Went great! Scott knows his stuff and while our project got delayed a bit due to sourcing materials and weather, he kept us up to date on the status. The guys were all nice and they did a great job of both installing the roof and cleaning up afterwords. It also didn't hurt that their quote was substantially lower than the other quotes we received. Very satisfied!!!

The Construction Group made our projects so easy. Unlike most contractors, they kept in touch with us and informed about everything that was happening. They adhered to the timelines. Their crews were efficient and respectful of our home. When we realized we had roof damage and impending winter snow coming, they were the only ones out of about 5 companies I called willing to come. They explained what was needed and began helping us work through everything. Part of our project was an insurance claim due to wind damage and Scott handled the interactions with the insurance company. His knowledge of the process made it so smooth, we were pleasantly shocked at the simplicity. We would absolutely use them again when we have more work to do on the house.

Working with Scott and the Construction Group was a great experience from start to finish. Our chimney was rebuilt from the roofline up last fall, and the roof and guitars were completed this spring. The quality of work performed is high and Scott was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I would not hesitate to work with the Construction Group again.

We hired the construction group to replace the roof on our house. Our original roof had defective shingles on it. Scott told us the roof was still under warranty and was great about contacting the manufacturer of the old shingles and making sure we got some coverage for the new roof. Scott’s crew replaced the roof in just 1 day and they did a great job! They also did a very good clean up job, we didn’t find a single nail in the yard or driveway. Even the building inspector commented on how nice the roof looked. Scott also installed new gutter screens on all of our gutters so now my husband who is in his 70’s doesn’t have to clean them out. Overall, we are very happy and would definitely hire Scott and his team again.

Scott Campbell worked with our insurance company throughout the process. The sub contractors that Scott used were very thorough and careful. Anything we were concerned about, they came back and fixed immediately.

My roofing project was more complicated than just tearing off and installing new shingles. I had seven pros take a look and two turned down my project right away and a third never called back. I got bids from four companies and while Scott's was actually the highest bid, I decided to go with The Construction Group because Scott seemed to really understand what I wanted and responded within 24 hours to all of my questions throughout the weeks of considering bids. I'm glad to report that Scott's attentiveness didn't wane after he won the job, but continued as he listened to my concerns, offered options, and worked hard to address any issues until the job was done. Our house was built in 1914 with wide eaves. Due to time, moisture damage, heavy snow loads, etc. many of the rafter tails were snapped, cracked, and sagging. The roofline was no longer a line, but a wave that was all over the place. Scott and his crew sistered the broken rafters, added new sheathing to replace the deck boards that were torn off to do the repairs, and then installed 11/32 plywood decking over the entire roof to create a solid nailing surface (there were gaps larger than 1/2" between my decking so code required this). We also had TCG install new 2x6 subfascia to help straighten out the roofline and a fascia appearance board was installed over that with custom-bent gutter apron and drip edge. Of course, they also installed all the underpayments, GAF Timberline shingles, and apron flashing and step tin flashing where needed to make roof-to-wall connections weather-tight. Honestly, the end result is better than I thought was possible. The roof structure is solid and the roof line is straight enough that it looks perfect from the street. All the sistered joists don't look very elegant, but once I cover them with a headboard soffit, the roof will look amazing. Achieving these results was not cheap. I had hoped to get this project done for $16K so the final bill was nearly 50% more than my budget, but I think the results are probably at least 50% better than what I would have received if I went with another company. Scott also offers a 10-year service guarantee against leaks or other issues with the new roof, which is far better than the typical 1-year guarantee for workmanship I saw in other bids. Also worth mentioning...we picked the worst week possible to have a roof installed (especially one that involved 4 days of work). We got 6" of rain the week they torn the roof off and some hail thrown in for good measure. The crew put tarps over the roof and hung around to see if there were any leaks. Good thing, because there were and those guys humped back up on the roof in a downpour and patched up the issue. The job took almost two weeks because of rain delays, but when it was dry, the guys worked long hours to get our job done. Scott was on site when needed and always available by phone. The foreman (Juan) was never on site, but the crew worked hard and cleaned up well when the job was done. During the job, the site was pretty messy, but that is mainly because it started raining before they had time to clean up on those days. I had several things that concerned me during the project and and I brought them all to Scott and he made sure that work was redone to my satisfaction or assured me that he stood behind the products used and the work being performed. Based on all my interactions with Scott, I trust that he will be there down the road if anything goes wrong and I would recommend TCG for your roofing project.

Scott was very helpful in lining roofers up. The best part is was he coordinated with our insurance for a totally painless experience. I highly recommend The Construction Group they are timely and professional.

We hired The Construction Group Inc. to replace our roof and gutters that were damaged by a hail storm that came through. (The company was referred to us by a friend) We met with the owner Scott who was a joy to work with. Scott spent a great deal of time inspecting our home and even met with the insurance adjuster to make sure nothing was missed. The work was completed about 3 weeks later. His roofing team was very nice, and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. The gutters were replaced a few days later. What a difference it made. Scott recommended a new kind of shingle in a color that I just love! Later in the year, we decided to make some upgrades to the inside of the house in preparation for a move. (Our kitchen and bathrooms still had that 70's look,) Scott came back out this time with his remodeler "Bill" who had some great ideas and was wonderful to work with. Bill and his workers remodeled both of our bathrooms and the kitchen. The work took about 6 weeks in all. They did a great job putting up plastic and keeping the house clean given what they had to do. We love the work they did and wonder why we waited so long to do it. I would certainly hire Scott and his team again.

I have to say, we were very impressed. My husband and I bought a new home this summer and it was a bit of a fixer upper. Some of the work we could do ourselves but many projects were just too big for us to take on. We knew from our home inspection that the roof and siding were in desperate need of replacement plus some windows and gutter work too. The Construction Group Inc. was one of 4 contractors we contacted for the various jobs. After meeting with each company we chose Scott. He wasn't the cheapest but I have learned from mistakes in the past that when it comes to construction projects you get what you pay for. Scott provided a detailed inspection of our home and even pointed out a few issues that were missed by our home inspection. He was patient with our many questions and provided a very detailed estimate for the work to be done. The work started about three weeks after we agreed to the proposal and took about 5 weeks to complete which was about a week longer than Scott estimated, but we had several rain storms during the project and the workers showed up every day they could. The siders found some framing damage that looked like carpenter ants. Scott and his carpenter looked over the damage and quoted a price for the repairs which I thought was reasonable and took care of it right away. Scott was good about keeping my husband and I informed as the project progressed. When the work was done, Scott walked around with us to make sure the work was done right. We found only a few few small items that needed attention and Scott was good about taking care of them quickly. I would also like to note that they took the extra step to hire a pest control company to come out and spray for ants to be sure we did not have more damage in the future. Over all we were very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.
