Service was excellent. He arrived on time, he was very courteous & professional, and did a fine job. I'd definitely hire him again.

He was terrific, professional and came the same day we called him. We were worried about the next storm coming that day after we already had damage and he did a great job. We had him come back to add gutter guards and the whole project was extremely reasonable. We signed him up to come back on an ongoing basis to check everything out.

Richard Balfour is the sole owner of his business. He is an expert in gutter cleaning. I would recommend him above all others I have hired to do similar jobs! At first I was worried for his safety as he came just after a very heavy rainfall. But I inquired as to how safe he felt that day and he readily dismissed the idea and said that he felt very safe and even though our roof we still wet, he easily moved on our roof as if that was his preferred environment. I cannot say enough good things about this young man. He is on the top of my list for gutter cleaning

He did an excellent job and was very thorough.  The only thing that was not perfect was the fact that when he arrived he put his ladder on my roof without knocking on the door to announce his arrival.  All of a sudden I heard a noise outside and saw the ladder.  It was alarming and unsettling.

Excellent! I have recommended this person to others. I was very glad to know this company had been checked out by Angie's list, and I felt the person, Richard, was very personable, but got down to working right away and I felt did a great job. I can look out some of my windows to see the gutters and they were spotless. He also cleaned up afterwards. There was no evidence that all the gunk he got out of the gutters had ever been around! Thorough and quick. I will ask for this company and person again. Thank you.

We recently changed the landscaping in the front of our house from rocks to mulch.  Following several recent heavy rainfalls, we noticed for the first time that our front gutter was not draining.  We had not noticed it when it was rock, but because of the displacement of the mulch, it became obvious.  We searched for a provider on Angie's List and were impressed by High Maintenance's reviews.  We called Richard and since this was a small job, he was able to fit us in and complete the job within 24 hours, arriving before his already scheduled jobs the following morning.  

We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and level of service.  In a day when great customer service has all but vanished, it was refreshing to do business with a company that recognizes its importance.  We would definitely use High Maintenance Services again for gutter cleaning or any other services they offer.

I purchased the Angies List deal and within 20 minutes, Richard called me to schedule an appointment. He was professional, did a great job, and cleaned up when he was finished. He also followed up with an email giving us feedback about our roof and gutter conditions.

As soon as I purchased the 'deal' I received an electronic appointment request from Richard which I accepted. 3 days prior to the scheduled appointment he called to ask if the service could be done that day instead as he was in the area.  I was not at home but we discussed exactly what I wanted done.  While there, Richard also measured some shutters on the second story which I am replacing. Everything was cleaned and no debris left behind. The work was done promptly and professionally. I would use High  Maintenance Services again in the future.

I bought the coupon on Angieslist.  Richard called me within a day or two.  He was very polite and professional.  We arranged a date and time and he showed up on time and went straight to work.  He cleaned the 'mud' out of my gutters along with other debris.  I haven't done my gutters in quite a few years so I imagine there was a lot of debris to extract.  Richard then flushed the gutters with water.  I thought he would be done after that........but nope.  He wiped down the outside of the gutters in case there was any debris stuck to them or splashed onto them.  Very nice and something I would never have thought of.  I spoke with Richard after he was done working and he is extremely nice and a very hard worker.  He said he could help me out with pretty much anything I need assistance with around the house.  I will definitely hire him again.

From the booking until the end Richard was a total and complete pro.  I work remotely so I usually get a chance to talk with the folks we hire and Richard was great.  An incredibly nice guy that takes pride in his work, works safely, and really wants to make you, the client, happy.  We had a few fascia boards that had lost a couple of nails and Richard was nice enough to nail them back in for us while he was cleaning off the roof of our three season.  Overall an excellent experience at an excellent price by an excellent guy.  We'll be calling Richard in the fall to clean our gutters and roofs for the winter! 

Richard was very professional and courteous. He let us know the progress of the job and made sure all clogs were clear.

I was very pleased with the service provided by High Maintenance Services. He was prompt in responding to my Angie's List purchase and was punctual for the agreed date and time of service. He did a wonderful ,thorough job of cleaning my gutters and also sealing a known leak and the corner seams.
