About us
We are Mark and Andrea Olson, owners of Applewood Builders- a Craft construction company located in historic White Bear Lake, Minnesota. We share a mutual love for the art of making a home. With the eye of a designer and the skill of a craftsman we combine our talents to residential new construction, renovation and interior/exterior architectural design. Our intention is to build exactly what you need or envision within your budget. We manage all phases of your project, provide design assistance for full home exterior renovations/kitchens or if you just need help picking out your project finishes. We are in communication with you every step of the way as we come alongside to help you achieve your home dreams and goals. It's not about how fast we can get the project done.. it's about doing it right with excellence, and being there for our homeowners.

The bathroom was started by the previous owner of our house and things were originally done carelessly and not to code. Mark and team got everything done correctly and the bathroom and storage areas are looking great! They worked within the constraints of the and quot;bonesand quot; that were already there and made a well-functioning, beautifully finished, area of our basement.
I have nothing but good things to say about the quality of their work and their professionalism.

They arrived on time every day for 3 months, answered or returned calls within minutes, dealt with any concerns that we had in a timely manner and treated our family with respect. Our two young boys enjoyed every minute of this project and are looking forward to another.
The completion of this project was bitter sweet as we gained a new beautiful space but that meant our daily visits would come to an end!
