B And C Hardwood Floors

We were stunned at how quickly our hardwood floors were installed. Craig's estimate allowed for 3 days if necessary, but they were completely done in a day and a half, even with three coats of finish. They sealed the work area to keep dust out of the rest of the house, and between that and their dust collection techniques we had almost no dust in the house at all. They were prompt, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. The floor looks wonderful and are exactly what we had hoped for. We were given good information about care of the floor and which types of rug pads won't damage the floor. When Craig came for the estimate, he gave us enough information about hardwood floors that made us decide for solid wood floors despite our reservations about potential for longer installation time and sanding mess compared with other types of floors. Because B&C's installation was so clean and efficient, that turned out to be a needless concern. We are very glad now we got the genuine article and didn't settle for pre-finished floors. We plan to install more hardwood in another area of the house eventually, and we will definitely have B&C do that installation.

B&C Hardwood did an excellent job both times. They filled in all gaps in the floor, sanded the floors all the way to the baseboards and around doorways expertly, and even did the closets. When we removed carpeting in 2007 to an adjoining hallway that they refinished in 2005, they were able to perfectly match the finish for a seamless transition between hallway and the bedroom. They worked hard, provided great value, and made the whole place look wonderful.

We had a great experience with Craig's company. They specialize in using an environmentally friendly poly finish and thus that is why we chose them. Craig was willing to offer an estimate of what it would cost per square foot to sand and refinish the floors (over the phone), which was helpful. He subsequently provided a written estimate, which was consistent with his phone estimate. They were efficient and completed the job in two days. The floors look great. Their price was competitive at $2.50/sq. foot. We would recommend this company to others.
