TCQ used to use the Gmail platform for its emails, contacts, and calendars. They stopped using the Gmail platform two months ago. They gave me instructions for getting email on their new system. However, they said nothing about destroying and deleting the data (emails, contacts, and calendars) that I had on the old system. These all worked for two months after the changeover. They never said anything about changing these to any other form or system. Without warning, they deleted all of that data. They gave no warning that this would happen. They gave me no instructions on how to prevent this from happening. Now, I cannot access my old emails, any of my contacts and my calendar has disappeared. When I called them about this they said there was nothing they could do, everything was, by them, deleted. I used to pay for this internet provider because they had customer service. I thought that was worth the $150 a year I paid to use them. This amount is in addition to the $55 I pay monthly to Century Link to have internet. But, they now have lost my business. I think this is a shabby way to treat a long term customer.

Overall, it started out good. Service was about 60-70% there when I needed it. Now, I find most of the time I can't get online at all. Sometimes, I do get online but system speed is very slow. Tech support tries to help but depending on who is working and what mood that person is in, support is not consistent. One rep asked us why we would choose to by Mac computers! Last week USI promised to send out another tech to bring us an antena that would boost our signal and speed (USI system is wireless but dependant on broadcast pods in the various neighborhoods they serve). Tech never called or showed up. I'm going back to the other service I had for a more reliable (& more expensive) internet service provider.

GOOD LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDER. DIAL-UP PRE-PAY IS 9.95 MONTH. I AM ALWAYS ABLE TO CONNECT AND THE CONNECTION NEVER DROPS. TECH SUPPORT HAS BEEN GOOD ALSO.
