Monique is very attentive and caring. We purchased our engagement and wedding rings through them and then got my rings fused together. They do an amazing job! Every time I’ve been in their store they have treated me like I’m important to them. I had them polish my ring before the wedding as well and Monique remembered what day I had mentioned it would be on. When I came back to get it fused she said she’d thought of me that day and had wished it would warm up for me! I will always go to Monique for any jewelry needs and I recommend her to my family and friends!!

I was very impressed with Monique. I was there for a free appraisal and she treated me as a paying customer - very professional and very knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions. Her shop is so interesting. Of course she has glass cases with jewelry but she also has other items for sale that are attractively displayed. I will recommend Monique to friends and family.

Monique is a real "gem". Thoroughly enjoyed the process beginning to end as we first shopped for diamonds, then after that came up with a few options for the setting. Ultimately, found the exactly the right look and then ordered it customized. Came in on schedule. Following a 4 month engagement, we were back to shop for our wedding bands - another great experience. Service, pricing and satisfaction can't be beat.

Monique replaced a watch battery. For whatever reason, my Cyma watch is a little cumbersome, and another jeweler struggled to get it right. But I took it to Monique, and she had exactly the right contacts to get it taken care of. And she didn't charge me extra to have it shipped out and back. A simple thing, but Monique showed great service and I would definitely refer her to friends and use for for future jewelry needs.

My wife and I went to a couple other large jewelry stores to look for a new / upgrade diamond ring. Monique was the best. She took time to really understand what my wife wanted and customized a ring to go with her new diamond---at a reasonable price. It turned out perfect! Monique was a joy to work with and we highly recommend her.

"Sorry, [Member Name Removed], for the late respond to your not very favorable review. It is true that at that time (2013) we did not have the capacity to appraise large Estates such as yours in a timely manner. The many Jewelry pieces we appraised for you were uniquely made in India, many in 22kt gold that needed to be tested first, with many different Gemstones of all kinds (some of which were uncommon to the American Market), thus it harder for us to appraise your Estate within a reasonable time frame. The cost of $1200 amounted to approx. $ 60 per item which is extremely low for such elaborate pieces of Jewelry. However, we are please to announce that we have hired a GIA certified Gemologist who is able to appraise any kind of Jewelry within a short period time (1 day upto 1 week for large estates as yours). We encourage other Angie List Members who read this review response to bring any Jewelry related item to our store in Wayzata. Judging by the many favorable reviews with Angie's List, you will be pleased with our service. We added a GIA certified Gemologist and an experienced Goldsmith to our staff and are able to design a ring or appraise your Jewelry in a short period of time besides having Diamonds of all shapes and sizes on hand at all times at 50% below retail pricing. Monique worked with us to decide on a customized setting, and met with us
late one evening (after store hours) to look at an array of diamonds to select
the "perfect" solitaire. And it is! We couldn't be happier with the ring!

Had a ring for my husband designed by Monique and I couldn't be any happier with it. Not only is the ring gorgeous, the price was about half what it should retail for (I've been looking for a ring for quite some time), but Monique is a genuinely knowledgeable jeweler (and a very sweet lady to boot)! My husband and I bought our wedding rings from Monique 23 years ago. My initial search on Angie's list for a jeweler led us back to Monique. I was looking to have my wedding ring re-tipped, potentially dipped to white gold and soldered together with an anniversary band. At the same time I also brought in my mother's diamond wedding ring to have it set in a pendant. After discussing various options related to my ring, I actually ended up with a new platinum band and upgraded to a slighlty larger diamond. I was also able to keep my existing wedding band which Monique offered to replace the stone with cubic zirconia. My husband also decided to upgrade his wedding band to platinum. We are both very pleased with the attention, quality and price we received from Monique. As for the pendant, I am extremely pleased with how it turned out.

The wedding ring upgrade was significant and took some time to design and mockup but we were thrilled to see the finished product. Monique was fair and knew exactly what we wanted. The necklace was a little easier but still we were able to customize it where it just looked remarkable. Monique guided us and acted more as a trusted mentor. We are already looking into some earings and can't wait to get back. Really enjoy the quality of service and the expertise that Monique brings to each project we give her.

I spoke to Monique and she apologized that she had not been more informative originally. She explained the situation with the chip and refunded the cost of the recut.
One of the sizing balls had come off. This she said was due to the thinness of the back of the engagement ring band. She had the band thickened by adding platinum and new balls put on. She did not charge for this.
She called me when she said would would and kept me informed as to the progress of the repair.
Her responsiveness was such that I feel she deserves an A now.
I will use her services again and am happy to recommend her to others.

After weeks of not hearing from Monique I called. Staff promised that Monique would return my calls. She did not. Finally, after a number of calls on my part, I spoke to her and she said that the work was done and I would have the rings the following week. She would let me know when they came. She did not let me know. Again I called and after several calls was told to come in the next day.
When I got my engagement ring 10 points had been removed to "repair the chip." This is exactly what I said I did not want, exactly what Monique had said she was sure I would not want!
I had never received an estimate and was presented with a bill for $820.

I bought the big deal and arranged pickup on Valentin's Day. The location was somewhat tough to find (I think she has moved since then which is good). I was kindly greeted by Owner. She promptly filled my order and I was on my way. This deal was a life saver for the scrambling desperate husband on the dreaded "do you love me or not" commercially concocted day know as Valentines Day. Thanks again for saving the day!!!

Excellent experience. Monique personally helped me. This is the third item I have purchased from Monique (counting my fiancee's purchase). After a great experience getting an engagement ring for my fiancee, and she getting my wedding band, we went back to get a wedding band for my fiancee. Just like the previous occasions, Monique is experienced and adept at suggesting great ring choices and being sensitive to budgets. She can get better pricing and great quality rings than most of the "retail" stores, in my estimation. Her personal touch/caring and pride in her work is very evident. She was very communicative throughout the process, from initial selection, to status of custom design and sizing, to final product and pickup.

I went in to the store on a whim and ended up going back several times to visit a ring that caught my attention! Monique encouraged me to come in and look and try it on - with NO pressure- and in the end, I bought this very beautiful piece of jewelry. I could not be happier with it! When researching jewelers, I was surprised to see so many people bragging up this place. I am suspicious of planted reviews but saw so many that seemed sincere on Angies List as well as Yelp and other sites so I decided I had better include them as one of my six places to investigate. I'm a picky and detailed IT professional who never pays more than I have to for anything (airline tickets, furniture, clothing, you name it) and I don't gush over getting good service as I expect exceptional service.
I narrowed it down to two places to do my custom-designed ring and when Monique gave me the price, it was $1,000 less than the other one! Yep...$3,000 instead of $4,000. The other place even made me ask for two reductions that had to get approval the next day from the owner, but Monique simply gave me her best price immediately. (I read that from other reviewers, but didn't believe it until now.) She even gave me 40% more for my gold than two other places who advertise a bunch on tv. Btw, those places really do NOT give the best gold prices and their ads are downright false. I also got crazy good prices on the rhodium plating for my husband's and my original wedding rings and it was done perfectly and in just a couple of days.
Monique has a goldsmith that drew up CAD drawings of my design and we tweaked it until it was exactly what I wanted. I even got a plastic mold before finally giving the go-ahead to cast it. Monique also surprised me by suggesting putting two of my mother's original wedding band diamonds in the euro-shank bottom as she knew it was sentimental to me. She did this extra work at no additional cost. The extra work and extra platinum would have cost me another big chunk of change at the other place.
I completely trust Monique and her family-owned business and will send all of my friends and family to see them when they need jewelry. Friendliness isn't on the top of my list when choosing goods & services, but I have to say that I feel like Monique is my friend who really is looking out for my best interests. She is as genuine as other reviewers say she is. Although it is a smaller shop than some of the big box retailers, they will get you exactly what you want from anything on the market and will give it to you at the best price without haggling. My new ring is beautiful and I would only be happier if I didn't waste so much time running around to all the other places!

Great experience. Monique is very friendly and works with you to create the ring you want, and finds creative ways to work within your budget. Her designers are very good, and we were very pleased with the outcome. In fact, my fiancee decided to get my wedding band from Monique. Sometimes you have to remind Monique to follow up on certain details, but overall she is great to work with, very professional yet still down to earth so you feel like a person not a number.

My meeting with Monique was a great experience, she has intensive knowledge about jewelry designing and jewelry business. I enjoyed planning out what my ruby stones into earrings would look like. When meeting with Monique, I showed her my gold charm with ruby and diamond given to me by my husband that I wanted to wear with the new ruby earrings. My only problem was that I don't wear gold as much as I use too so Monique suggested I have charm finished with silver plating. I was a bit nervous at first doing the silver plating but after she showed me some examples, I decided it was the best way since I would want be able wear the earrings with the charm necklace as a set. I am very pleased with the work done on my new ruby earring settings and the charm as well as the prong setting replacement on my wedding ring. I would go back to her for any jewelry designs and repairs in a heart beat. She had fair pricing and willing to work within your budget.
