As I described above, it was a disappointing experience. When you open your home to a contractor, you are entrusting them with a big part of your life. They can literally hold you hostage by not finishing projects - using payment after payment as your only method of resolution. We finally had enough and decided to have someone else finish the project. It was an expensive lesson learned.
