Floor To Ceiling Design Center

Frustrating and time consuming. Until they got my credit card number, Floor to Ceiling was responsive and seemed reasonable. We ordered a few hundred square feet of carpet in early August. They promised a start-to-finish process of two weeks. We emphasized that timing was of the essence because the installation had to be complete my late August. On August 10, they charged our card $5000. And then... nothing. It took more than two weeks of constant unreturned calls and unanswered messages to hear back from Floor to Ceiling. On August 21, a Floor to Ceiling employee told us that the carpet was just ordered that day. I immediately left a message for Floor to Ceiling: we would pay for whatever they had done, but wouldn't move forward with the carpet. Their response was immediate: threatening to sue us. They also told us that, in any case, the soonest they could install the carpet was several weeks away. I regret having ever walked into their showroom.
