Overall, a positive experience. Sergey works with a crew of Russian college students as laborers who removed our old driveway and sidewalk, set the base of stones and an underlying drainage system for our gutters, and then hand set pavers. We did have some initial challenges getting the design concepts down (We didn't like the designs that his designer picked, and ended up drawing our own which they used), and they didn't always show up when we expected them. Punctuality for meetings was often frustrating as Sergey would be several hours late for an appointment with us, but his laborers worked tirelessly, often from first light until dark, and the end product is beautiful. Everything is now complete except for the final finish coat which we are waiting on our fence contractors so it doesn't get scratched by the machinery. Overall, an asphalt driveway would have cost me more, wouldn't be semi porous, and wouldn't look near as classy.
