Initially misdiagnosed broken pip as a bad valve. Over 20 days and several visits later the issue was finally diagnosed correctly and the pipe was repaired.
They did not proactively followup to get the job done, which seems odd since someone was always available to come out when we called for followup.
After the work was done, I was billed twice as much as I would have expected to pay for the work that was performed. Part of the issue was that they bill the same rate for the plumbers helper as they do for the plumber who actually did the work while the helper stood around and watched. They also pad their hours.
After I explained my point of view on the billing and asked for an explanation, the owner was incredulous that I would question the billing since I hand not asked about the cost of the repairs upfront. Since this business was referred, I thought they would treat me fairly. After attempting to negotiate a lower fee based on the hours that I had documented, the owner stated that would he would rather accept full payment and not do business with me again.
I have sine discovered that at least one of my neighbors has had the same issues with this business. They can eventually get the job done if you stay after them, but the repair took far too long and I was over charged.
