A home inspection identified a potential back draft in the gas water heater exhaust-chimney connection. Plumber replaced exisiting 3" vent with new 4" aluminum vent and connected it to the existing chimney liner. He capped the old hole into the clay chimney and tested the exhaust for proper venting. He provided the documentation to satisfy the problem found by the inspector. This was done on the first visit and at significantly less cost than a previous phone estimate by an other plumber.
