It was a bad situation when my cellphone screen shattered, even though I had protective premium tempered glass, and a protective case. Aaron did not have the screen color (blue) in stock, but he ordered it and installed it the same day he received the screen. He came to my home, and replaced it within 90 minutes. The Samsung screen is very difficult to replace because of the adhesive, and I'm glad I didn't try to repair it myself.

It went great! Cracked the screen on my S5 when I dropped it. It still worked but didn't want the crack to get worse. First off I called other providers to see their cost. Device Pitstop was $350, iDoctor was $250 - in both cases they did not have the parts needed so I would have to pre-order AND pre-pay. Thank goodness I called The Cellular Surgeon. He said it would be $190 AND he would come to my house AND he had all the parts. We traded texts on Wednesday, he came by on Thursday. He showed up at my house - took one look at my phone (Samsung S5) and said he thought it was just the glass protector that was cracked and not the actual screen. In no time at all, he had the glass protector off and sure enough, the phone was not even scratched. He said he would just charge me $25, I paid him $30. Had I gone to any other provider, I would have pre-paid at least $250 and would not have gotten that back. And I would have been had to go to their store and be without my phone.
If you have a cracked screen on your phone - there is no other place you should go than the Cellular Surgeon. No need to call anyone else.

Aaron responded quickly to the email inquiry, gave me an accurate price quote (which was much cheaper than a different company), ordered the parts, met my husband at a location close to his work, and did the replacement in less than an hour. He did a great job!

When he showed up, price was $20 more than quoted on the phone (could have asked for clarification on some things if there was a price difference). When he fixed the phone, the home button was a different color than the face of the phone (black home button, white face). After fixing the mismatch issue, screen had discoloration.
In working through the issues with the install, the rep was unresponsive, unprofessional, and rude. He didn't take any accountability for the issues, blamed the customer, and the problem was never fixed.

"This customers name is actually [member name removed], so I'm not sure why the secrecy. Ok, I provide an onsite repair service, so I drive to the customer wherever they are. I drive to this customer because she says she has an iphone 5 that needs repair. I get there and it's an iphone 5S. She doesn't know what phone she has so she just gives me wrong information. Thankfully I had a 5S part with me so the trip wasent wasted; although it a different color she agreed to do the repair. And agreed to pay the ACTUAL price for the 5S repair. Couple days later she decides that she didn't like the color difference and demands I come back out and change it... So I do. A day after that she says the screen has a blueish tint to it and I agree to come swap it out again. She demands I do it immediately and when I don't do it within two days she messages me telling me not to bother she'll figure it out some other way. She was extremely demanding despite the fact she gave me wrong information and expected me to read her mind over the phone. I can't treat my customers like they're stupid and make them triple check what kind of phone they have. I've had people not know which phone they have, but never had a customer become so disagreeable when I'm able to help them despite their inability to give proper information. Because of the nature of my service if I'm not told the right phone model I may or may not be able to have the right part with me, and cannot help the customer properly."
